The Coffee farmer in South america and Africa gets Eur4/kg and exported beans after being roasted in Eurpope is sold at EUR 30/kg. More than 7 times the cost. All the margins go into Swiss pockets. Why Roasting Coffee in India does not make it as expensive?
Jasmine oil from India is $5500 per kilo.
J'adore from Dior France is $148,000 per kilo.
If you apply Jasmine essential oil from India without Dior branding, you can enjoy same perfume for $5.
SO, THE BIGGER QUESTION IS : WHY IS J'ADORE SO EXPENSIVE?
This is due to marketing costs and brand name prestige. Immense corporate greed by western companies is the only reason to justify the massive, excessive mark-up (7 to 30 times in some cases).

Is greed any justification to do business like this?

It's highly adharmic.
Clooney may been paid around $40 million dollars for Nespresso's ad campaigns; Charlize Theron – US$55 million for J'adore; Aishwarya maybe less $1 million for L'Oréal.

Why should the payments for celebrity endorsements get transferred to the customer? ImageImage
It's been going on since dharmic values disappeared in trade. Since the 🔼trade of african slaves-indian kalamkari- american gold, traded by the middlemen, the friction of capitalism started. Stop "modern slavery" . #celebrities #exploitation #drugs

These celebrities may take the money but don't think their lives are theirs. They sell their privacy in return for money, constantly clicked, stalked, judged, trolled. Celebrities usually take to drugs to cope or worse many are forced to take drugs and overdo fitness and Botox.
In the end, customer has to pay for ruining the normal lives of propped up celebrities 7-30 times more than actual value of product for the benefit of company. This makes the MNC the real ruler of the world. The real slave driver, real exploiter.
Desis lineup to get MNC jobs. Image
Celebrities live their 15 seconds of fame life. Some pop off with heart attacks in gyms at 46y. Some die mysteriously if they try to open their mouths. Governments change. All because roman doctrine of keeping public distracted with bread, games, sports, politics, brands works Image
Buy coffee beans and get them roasted and grind them. Heavenly aroma therapy at home with that

Buy that Jasmine from the flower lady directly everyday.

Use anyone to model for that ointment. Or use animation.

Political leaders cut off the puppet strings. Solve issues
Capitalism thrives because public wants convenience. Convenience is fine, but with limits. Limitless convenience for humans is super inconvenient for the Planet. If it's not good for Earth, it's not good for you. ImageImageImageImage
Happiness is not an ideal to be achieved via materialism. It has been said before. This rat in this video is telling me the same. Watch it!

When do I plan to leave the #ratrace and live a more equanamous dharmik life?

Desis in India have been aspiring to go english literature since pre independence.

They learn literary devices like similes that show blackness as sad and bad.

#Racist #Literature influences the social life style, culture and literature of India. Image
How did English literature become part of Bengali / Tamil/ Hindi literature in 2022? Why should Indians reads Conrad, Maugham, Orwell anymore in school? Bharat needs a grand narrative. Otherwise the world majority sees the word Bharat and
they go "Bharat detected opinion rejected". They box the Bharatiyas into a category titled "ignore".

Years of anti-bharat-brainwashing by English literature poetry/prose iassociates barsat🌦️ with death/sadness and black Kali as negative.

Barsat is life.
Kali is Maa.

If "every fetus has the right to be born",as per what american supreme court decided in Roe Vs Wade, then why did Americans fund sterilization of poor women in the 1950's and 60's in India, Korea, China and Reunion islands?

Fetus of poor non americans had no such right ?
Is religion, culturally regressive traditions, or race to blame for gender imbalances? No, Not really. Both Confucianism and Hinduism reserve the most terrible of fates for those who kill fetuses. As does Christianity condemn abortions.
The role of Western governments and elitist institutions turns out to be hitherto mostly unexamined, and more ominously, more critical in the disappearance of 160 million girls in Asia

Officially unfollowing Salvatore Babones. His tweets asking about India betray his deep american insularity every single time. This zombie nacho tweet is the last straw.
Hindus perfom shraadh with respect and reverence to their dead , their ancestors and believe in cycle of brith death and rebirth.

The zombie myth is so far removed fr desi sensibility.

In a land of pitru paksha how can desis quietly recommend Kantara in response to his tweet!
Americans culturally mock their dead, barring exceptions like those minorities with native American heritage who also believe in day of the dead.

Zombies dancing, rotten corpses coming of out of graves is a mockery of the dead which entertains Americans.

Crass.

Explain why Dior would price J'adore 30 times more than jasmine oil, its key ingredient?

Because you the customer decides demand. Because you the customer will pay pittance to the Tamilian flower lady but pay 30 times the cost of jasmine oil to french Christian Dior. Image
Then after ensuring that Dior is rich due to your choices , you will study hard at institutions subsidized by Indian tax payers and get a job in Dior to yourself get exploited for cost arbitrage favoring Dior.

AND You will never be caught dead wearing malligai in your hair. Image
Why would you never want to wear malligai in your hair but instead spray on extremely overpriced and Unsustainable j'adore?

Simple answer. Cultural epistemicide has taken place. Contant prejudice allows you to believe that exploitative french perfume is best. Image

Nudity is not shocking in Europe anymore. There was a time Europeans were too shocked to see the Indian saree and forced Victorian blouses on indian women. Today , they have ditched their prudishness and topless beaches and spas everywhere in Europe.

While Indians cover up.
Americans are so shocked on seeing topless women in europe. Exactly how Arabs and Europeans felt on reaching India.

In the 1800s most women were topless in India. In Kerala, most women had lightly covered clothes on top.

Use kalamkari scarves instead of gift wrapping paper and use #furoshiki

It is more #sustainable and creates less #waste
ReUse badly torn printed sarees (that are no longer wearabl) by ✂️ cutting them into squares and rectangles to be later used for gift wrapping.
