So Ezoic added a video platform/network called Humix this year, and I was just poking around in it this AM... my site has done nearly 1MM plays in the last 30 days

If you're using Ezoic, here's a quick intro to Humix...#sponsored Image
Humix allows you to upload videos to a library you control within Ezoic, and then monetize those videos in two main ways.

1. You can use the video on your own site and keep a higher percentage of the ad revenue than say YouTube
2. You can also choose to enable "video sharing" and grant access to 30,000+ other Ezoic sites to use your video on their sites. You'll collect a 50% share of the ad rev from those video plays.

AI helps automatically match your video with relevant content on those other sites.
To access Humix just go to the top of the Ezoic dashboard Image
On the Overview and Studio tabs you can upload new videos one-by-one, in bulk or import existing videos from YouTube Image
On the Site tab you can control exactly where on your site videos are embedded Image
But the Channel tab is where things get interesting.

You can enable "Grow" for all videos - this is what shares your video to the Ezoic site network, to earn some extra money each month.

(If you only want to enable some videos for Grow, you can limit it per video) Image
If you're a publisher that doesn't have any videos of your own, you can enable "Engage".

This allows relevant videos from other sites to be displayed on applicable pages of your own site - boosting revenue.
Humix is yet another way to increase website earnings - It'll add $2,500 bucks to my monthly earnings in Nov 👍

Had to try AvatarAI by @levelsio. Incredible how realistic some of these are. The next ten years are going to be wild.
It wasn’t perfect, some of the images were funny/scary 🤣

Display ads get a bad rep.

Yes, they can be annoying, make your site not look as good, etc. But they can also make you a good amount of money.

Here's a list of folks I enjoy following who share what they earn with display ads, and show us all what's possible...

I just finished an amazing Authority Hacker interview with Kevin Espiritu.

You may not know Kevin, but I bet you've heard of his business, Epic Gardening.

EG is doing 7.5MM/yr in revenue and recently got a 17.5MM investment from The Chernin Group.

Here are my takeaways...
1. You can't avoid taking risks

Ex 1:

Kevin was making just ~$400 a month back in 2016 when he decided to go all in on Epic Gardening.

At that point Epic was only a blog, and ad networks weren't really a thing. They paid terribly, so he was betting on affiliate marketing.
Ex 2:

He eventually wanted to start selling products and had finally got the OK from a company that made quality garden beds in Australia.

Kevin spent $30k on his first order. He hadn't even really figured out customs or shipping. He just went for it and figured it out later.

This apple picking farm will make WELL over $100,000 today alone 🤯…
What an operation.

$47 bucks for 20lbs of apples and a hay ride

$34 bucks for 10lbs of apples and a bay ride

And that’s just the start…
They have pumpkins, farm animals, a market, multiple grills $$$$

I’m being conservative here but let’s say average family spends 100 bucks before they leave this place.

I’ll personally write & publish 35+ posts this month (10+ on site #1, 25+ on site #2).

Here are 4 things I do that make publishing a lot easier…
1. Keyword research in sprints

I keep my writing and keyword research completely separate.

I often dedicate multiple days to just doing keyword research.

I always have a list of 50-100 keywords, but more importantly…
That list of keywords is groomed and prioritized.

That way when I sit down to do work, there is no question about what I’m writing about.

I prioritize based on what I believe are the biggest opportunities. That means high vol, low comp.

The true cost of half-assing a project…
When I hear “half-ass a project”, I immediately assign half the final outcome to that project, because my brain has a bias for linear thinking.

But the end result is almost always MUCH worse than that…
When things are working, the growth rate INCREASES, and results compound.

Let’s assume half-assing a project means you get stable growth of +5% each quarter.

But when you full-ass it, your growth rate INCREASES by 5% each quarter.
