So the German embassy in China thought they were clever.

They posted on Weibo, a person holding a blank piece of paper.

Obviously in support of the protests that happened in China

But the Chinese on Weibo is having a field day, photoshopping jokes on them...examples in the🧵
This one says:

"German soap is very good, but too bad, you only have cold water to shower"

This is a double entendre

Because Germans during WW2 used the fat from murdered Jewish victims and turned them into bars of soap
This one say:

"Glory to Russia"

Mocking the constant blabbering of "slava ukraini" by German and other EU embassy Weibo accounts
This one says:

"The German government would like to apologize to the 158,000 people who died of covid in Germany"
This one says:

"Lessons learned

Next time, let's hope the middleman do not siphon off the money we pay for the protesters

And also, make sure the protesters learn the local dialects properly"
This refers to a string of incidents, where protesters were promised certain amount of money, only to have most of that taken away by the middleman organizers

It also makes fun of locals scolding "protesters" from out-of-town who don't speak the local dialect
This one says:

"I'm wrong, I'm wrong, I'm wrong, I'm wrong"
This makes fun of a paid protester, who immediately apologizes and admitted wrong doing, as soon as he was dragged away by the police
Some of you might say, hey, that's pretty cruel
Well..
1) Don't sell your country out

2) I have heard from a national security insider, that these low-level paid protesters will only get a warning and a phone call to their parents

It's the organizers that needs to be worried
This one says:

"Costa Rica, send us home"

Referring Germany's poor performance at the World cup and will be eliminated if they lose to Costa Rica
This one says:

"American master, please be kind, and give us some natural gas"
"Z"

Can my Russian friends translate the Cyrillic?
I think it says Slava Rossiya
This one says:
"I didn't return my shared bike"
Referring to this protester, being led away by police,
who is more concerned about the potential 50 RMB fine than the actual protest
We Chinese know of the protests, and we are against the foreign backed color revolution

Perhaps this is why western media is lying to your face, claiming the Chinese don't know of the protests

Breaking news from China‼

Former General Secretary of the CPC, former President Jiang Zemin, passed away today, at the age of 96
I chose the picture of him giving a very inspiring speech during the deadly 1998 floods for his eulogy.

Many may disagree with his policies, but his deft and skilled diplomacy, steered China out of isolation after the Tiananmen square insurrection attempt
Chinese leaders comes in generations, each generation have their own challenges and mission

The 1st generation was Mao
2nd Deng
3rd Jiang
4th Hu
The current 5th generation; Xi

A protester in China taken away by the Police while shouting:

"Hold on, let me speak ok?
I haven't returned my shared bike !!"

Not returning a shared bike to their docks, carries a 50 RMB fine

This tell us a lot about the protest itself...🧵
First of all there are 2 types of protests

One is the legitimate dissatisfaction with local covid policy, they are the ones tearing down barricades.

The other, such as this video, are politicized protests, where they hold up blank piece of paper
The first type, are spontaneous, and unplanned

The second type, are planned with foreign forces on telegram

The protests in China seems to be fizzling out faster than a wet firecracker

This protest in Guangzhou, you see 5 protesters being scolded by locals, as the police and onlookers enjoy the show

Here's what they said...🧵
Some key sentences translated by Weibo users:

Local dude: "Are you even from Guangzhou"?

"You are not here to help us, you are here to create trouble"

"We Cantonese are very generous, if you need money we can give you some" (implying they are paid by foreign forces to protest)
Some of you may not know this, but Chinese people's tolerance for foreign backed protests is below zero

The Century of Humiliation is deeply entrenched in our collective psyche

So next time you buy protesters, make sure they don't look like a Democrat voter from New York

Objectively speaking, a blank piece of paper is the most stupid prop you can have for a protest

It's just asking people to photoshop jokes on them ImageImageImageImage
First picture says

Others received 1000 yuan, why was I only given 500? I want my money
Second image says

50 yuan one time

An overview of the protests happening in China 🧵

This video sums it up pretty well:
It happened in Chengdu, Sichuan
A small group of people were chanting:

"We want freedom" in Mandarin

Then the bystanders shouted in Sichuan dialect:
"fk your freedom"
Vast majority of the people protesting simply wants the covid policy to change

However, there is a small minority of people that are using this as a stepping stone for regime change

These people are working directly with foreign journalists, so their voices are overrepresented
On telegram groups, these people have their list of contacts

So what you see on twitter is NOT the voice of the people, it's the voice of western journalists

China has developed a "Close-Loop Autonomous Weapon System"

Where the AI onboard of drones can decide whether to pull the trigger, completely free from human intervention

A thread on the autonomous killing machines of the PLA...🧵
According to the CEO of CASIC, this system is already operational on the WJ-700 drone

Algeria have already purchased the WJ-700 drone
The drone itself has 3 modes of detection

Synthetic-aperture radar, Electro-optical pod, and ELINT (detecting enemy transmissions)

The WJ-700 can detect a target, match the target profile to a database, then decide whether or not to attack it, all done autonomously
