This, despite:
🤯 selling 20,000 boxes of condoms through our Shopify and channel partners with $0 marketing. Only WOM and Organic PR.

Why we choose to pivot:
⚡ Retention: Even though women (and some men) were excited to try out the product, most of their partners refused to continue using condoms at all. Speaks to the 5.6% use of condoms in our country.
⚡ Taboo: We noticed discrepancies in names and payment details on our orders. Women would order on their partner's card. It could also be men ordering on their card but putting in their partners' names. You decide what you infer from this.
Salad 1.0 was introduced as ultra-thin, vegan contraceptives to the world in June 2021. We launched it as a Shopify-first store put together over a weekend.
