2) Find decaying articles

3) Inspect 0-click queries

You need some coding or spreadsheet knowledge to replicate most of this stuff.

How to differentiate yourself?

"Riches in the niches", it's true.

Positioning is the real deal!

This applies to websites and people alike.

How to build a great value proposition 🧵
Focus on one area rather than doing it all.

Pick what you like and collaborate with others to solve problems.

My choice is content, data, and strategy.

I just love their interaction.

Websites can do the same by picking specific niches.
Ignore trends if they are not suitable for you.

You have to be updated but you don't need to learn everything.

Don't pick something without synergy to your skillset.

The same goes for businesses.

Don't betray your core values just because someone else told you so.

Many say to understand data when they don't.

This is a problem that plagues the #SEO industry.

In money, this hurts content websites.

But don't worry, there are solutions.

Let's see what you have to consider and why 🧵
Data quality is the most important factor.

Defining what quality is is the first step.

It doesn't always equal accuracy, as we can see with Google Search Console.

But, you can still get useful insights out of it...
As long as you can get relevant and practical insights, the rest is optional.

The choice of language is irrelevant if you are just going to do an analysis.

As long as you get results, everyone's happy.

Don't lose your mind over details.

The Most Advanced Guide To Google Search Console You'll Read Here.

The average #SEO Twitter advice is terrible.

I will teach you how to avoid the most common mistakes when using GSC.

A content optimization framework to make more $$. 🧵
Before we start, check this GSC series, it will tell you exactly what I do.

This thread is more about advanced concepts and the necessary ideas behind the analysis.
First of all, never use the interface for audits.

It's fine to get quick facts and some details, fair enough.

For all the rest, you need the API.

And even then, you should accept it comes with other problems.

You can do as follows:

There are no big secrets in #SEO.

Excluding some occasional gimmicks, almost everything is available online.

BUT...

There are some topics that are not often discussed.

Here is some food for your mind 🧵
Most of the information you read online is not right for you.

If you have an Ecommerce, you are different from a B2B SaaS.

End of the story, the models are radically diverse.

This idea is not as widespread as you think.

Generic SEO advice doesn't consider these nuances.
Accuracy is overrated.

You don't need accurate search volumes.

Magnitudes are enough. Is it in the order of a thousand or more?

Knowing the actual value doesn't make any difference.

And yet, the SEO industry has to yearly ask the same questions.

None of it really matters.

I am auditing a lot of content websites recently.

And I can only notice how the #SEO industry standards for reporting are "strange".

Many articles list useless metrics or boring details.

Some tips to get more $$ insights out of audits 🧵
First of all, go for the value.

Don't make it super fancy, you don't work in Business Consulting.

Your goal isn't to make pretty PowerPoint slides.

Attach a goal to everything you measure.
Many articles out there seriously list clicks and organic users as useful metrics.

Sure, you need them, but you can't build an entire report on clicks.

The same goes for the Average Bounce Rate, what doe it even mean?

Understand business requirements first.
