🔴 The Citizens, along with @WilsonsLondon, took the govt to court over their contract to Malaysian glove manufacturer #Supermax

The company faced several allegations of human rights abuse that the govt ignored.

Here's an update on it, with a report from @Channel4News 👇
.@Channel4News reports that it can be confirmed that The Department of Health & Social Care totally failed to vet #Supermax

The govt went ahead to give the company the green light despite the fact that it failed standards
Last year, @allthecitizens released this film to highlight allegations against #Supermax for human rights abuses 👇
.@samueljlovett reported that the UK govt had awarded #Supermax a contract for gloves worth almost £8m ignoring warnings made against the company
