The co-chair of @IPCC_CH WG3 Prof. Jim Skea concluded that "It is now or never" and that we need "deep emissions reductions across all sectors" if we are to meet our climate targets and avoid catastrophic impacts

Already $4.6 Trillion of new investments in fossil fuels since the Paris Climate Agreement!

@Barclays Since 2015 (when the Paris climate agreement was signed) & up to the end of 2021, @Barclays has financed around US 💲167 billion💵in fossil fuels!!!

Making it the bank the BIGGEST financier of fossil fuels in Europe and the 7⃣th largest in the world!

Barclays talk of needing to take "a considered & pragmatic approach to near-term energy requirements" - but there's nothing 'pragmatic' about fueling climate catastrophe!
