🇶🇦 FIFA WC Fantasy QF preview

On Friday, Croatia and Brazil kick-off the QF. As we're nearing the end of this World Cup, it's becoming increasingly hard to pick your team.

✍🏼 So here are my opinions, country by country.

🇧🇷 Brazil is looking fantastic at the moment and are firing on all cylinders. Croatia is tough to beat, don’t concede much but I don’t think they’ll be able to keep their net intact in this game. It would be unwise to not target Brazil’s attacking assets,

...mainly Richarlison since he has the most value given his price tag. Neymar and Vinicius are sound picks as well with Neymar edging Vini since he's on penalty duty.

🇭🇷 Croatia are deep into the tournament yet again. They can pose problems for any team but I don’t think they have the firepower necessary to beat Brazil. That said, I also don’t believe they’ll be able to keep a clean sheet so it’s best to avoid their assets in the quarterfinals

🇳🇱 I believe that this game will be a low scoring one. The Netherlands didn’t look at their best this tournament but that didn’t stop them for going deep. Dumfries on the wing will be a standout option, while Gakpo could prove to be a differential.

🇦🇷 I am going with Messi because he’s Messi, is on penalties and if someone’s going to push Argentina into the semi-finals it will probably be him. De Paul could be a good budget pick. Di Maria could also show up but I won’t be betting on him.

🇲🇦 This could be a low scoring game as well. Taking a chance with Hakimi could prove to be beneficial as he is their defender with the best attacking output. Ziyech is also having a good World Cup and could potentially end up in my team.

🇵🇹 Want to try your luck with Ramos? He could prove to be the difference maker in this matchday. Bruno Fernandes is a lock in my team since the start of the WC and that will not change. It would also be wise to take a couple of their defenders...

Cancelo didn’t start the last game which makes me wonder who to get alongside Dalot but I’ll adjust accordingly once the lineups are out. I’m taking Costa as a GK.

🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 If England are to score, I don’t believe Kane will be scoring. Theo’s offensive field trips could be punished by Saka on the right side so he’ll probably stay in my team. Foden on the right is also an option with his offensive arsenal. I won’t be going for England’s defence.

🇫🇷 Kylian Mbappe. The best player in the world who’ll probably win the Golden Boot. Other than him, I’ll be taking Theo Hernandez as I believe his return potential is highest among all defenders at this World Cup. Giroud is a sound pick as well and is a world class finisher.
