When almost all frontline staff tell the public, the media & anyone who will listen that EMS leadership is CORRUPT, maybe someone in a position of power needs to take action!

We don’t yet know how much $$ these 6 “leaders” have stolen.

What we do know … 1/
Is that staff have been saying for YEARS that the top 3-4 tiers of EMS need to be replaced. If they are good ppl, they will earn their way back in.

We also know that EMS is small & other leaders have likely been complacent in some of the other unethical practices occurring. 2/
An example? The Chief Paramedic’s wife, stalking FB in order to make complaints abt EMS frontline staff. Causing the staff members extreme stress, suspensions & discipline. What did the staff do to deserve this? Told the public the TRUTH abt the EMS crisis. 3/
Another example is mobbing. The managers get together & single out the staff that they want to “teach a lesson”. They bully & harass paramedics just for entertainment. Everyone is walking in eggshells, afraid to be seen or heard, just in case. 4/
Leadership saying investigations were unfounded, not because it didn’t happen, but because they don’t want to get their friends in trouble so they refuse to accept all the evidence & cherry pick what to investigate. 5/
Ppl have been disciplined for what they do on their personal days.

Staff have to request unpaid LOA to attend school while these EMS bosses are getting paid their $130,000+ in salary to attend @RoyalRoads. They do this education on company time, at the taxpayers expense 6/
Both males & females have been sexually harassed. When they report it, the victim is considered a trouble maker. Some have been fired from EMS for reporting SH. While the perpetrator gets to stay on, collecting 6figure salaries. 7/
We’ve even had staff be sexually assaulted at work by a coworker & nothing was done. The perpetrator remains at work.

Why don’t we complain higher up you ask? 8/
Some have tried. But the deceit doesn’t end at EMS. @AHS_media VPs have also ignored pleas for help. Ex. #DarrenSandbeck’s boss, #DebGordon.

@DShepYEG please help us find someone that can hold these ppl accountable! 9/
It’s clear that @RjSigurdson @JasonCoppingAB & @ABDanielleSmith aren’t as interested in shaking things up as we are.

Oh & 1 other thing, even the “EMS psychologist” who is the ED for EMS culture is aware of these issues. She is also complacent in how we are treated. 10/
