@AaronBosterMD @GavinGiovannoni I call it the Iceberg model. What You See is just the Tip. My take: Doc and Patient are together for potentially Years. Both Hopeful their DMT choice works. Other medical issues managed. Keep working-walking-thinking-being normal, whatever that is.
Once a Year, Doc says: How are You Doing?
I say OK.
Depending on our Historical Relationship, Doc looks at chart & MRI & does basic exam. Doc might know You better than some & Might ask: Really? Then give You some time & only have 5 minutes & Me Patient doesn’t want to hear more.
Denial, The Dwindles, The polishing up before an appointment. Look the best You Can. Don’t want to disappoint the Doc, or Yourself. Now My War on using #Gadolinium as Contrast before MRI. Retained Metal. @US_FDA knows. I tweet. Am I successful? Can I (Patient) reform old ways? 🤔

A Vermont Progressive Town Government tried to sell my Century Farm for $10k Property tax 9 months late & only notified My Husband, they violated My Rights. I found out after I saw $10k missing. Thankfully Husband paid day of Sale. I flipped Conservative. I never told my Mom.
I wrote letters…My Husband felt bad not telling Me. I Knew it wasn’t His Responsibility. I am a Woman co-owner. Nobody cared! It would have cost Me $10k to sue them & Wise Lawyer said The Town will just get up on the stand and lie. traveloguefortheuniverse.blogspot.com/search?q=Prope… Leahy never wrote back.
I started writing My Heart Out after that and My Multiple Sclerosis Diagnosis-a Perfect Storm. I won’t write about being Conservative on Facebook because half of My Friends & Family would HATE Me. Twitter was safer. Strangers Hate Me-that’s ok. I have Friends Here, Support Group.
