CHARGES EXPECTED TO BE FILED TODAY: Accused graffiti vandals Casey Cain and Jose G. Betancourth are facing felony level charges for allegedly going on a tagging rampage across parts of #Seattle. Cain(EAGR/EAGER) made bail, but Betancourth(SATN/SATAN) remains behind bars.
GRAFFITI TURF WAR? Cain and Betancourth's arrest sent shockwaves throughout #Seattle's graffiti community. The duo was seen as "untouchable" since their work was so prolific. But they also have enemies. The word "TOY" is tagged over some of EAGR/EAGER's work. Sign of DISRESPECT.
DISSING EACH OTHER: If you see "TOY" tagged over another tag, it basically means they think your work sucks. But some graffiti artists say EAGR/EAGER is a "TOY" because he selfishly took up valuable #Seattle real estate and did not leave room for others. graffiti.fandom.com/wiki/Toy
SERIOUS CHARGES: King County Prosecuting Attorney's Office says graffiti may not seem like big deal, but collectively, duo allegedly cause more than $100K in damage, especially hurting small biz owners in #Chinatown-ID, on the hook for cleaning tags.
THEY GOT EM: Police immediately responded and made arrests without incident. #Seattle
TOO EAGR/EAGER: Earlier this summer, look what happened to @SeattlePD mobile precinct in downtown #Seattle. That tag is everywhere.
THEY LOVE CID: The tagger duo hit up Chinatown-ID/Little Saigon on the regular. Nearby Central District as well. #Seattle@MayorofSeattle This was back in May when I saw this. 👇🏽
CONSTANTLY CLEANING: @MayorofSeattle
and city teams have been consistently going out and painting over tags. But keeping up with these prolific vandals remains a challenge. #Seattle
DECLARING WAR ON GRAFFITI: In October, @MayorofSeattle doubled down on WAR ON GRAFFITI. Then a massive mural along I-5 on @wsdot property went up mocking the Mayor. Unclear who's behind it. But recently, others tagged over it.#seattlesnow
KEEPING HIS WORD: Back in April, @MayorofSeattle held press conference, asking for state help as well and vowing to make a difference. EAGR/EAGER'S arrest THURSDAY, huge first step sending message GRAFFITI vandalism will no longer be tolerated. #Seattle
REMEMBER THIS? I confronted these graffiti vandals back in April at Cal Anderson Park. Then one of them came after me. #Seattle
NASTY GRAFFITI CULTURE: A lot of the messaging promotes violence and threats. Cal Anderson Park remains a hot spot. But I have never seen EAGR/EAGER or SATAN/SATN tags in this area. They're heavily in CID, Downtown, and Central District. #Seattle

#BREAKING: President Trump will sign an executive order that will start to defund and dismantle the failed Housing First policy that has led to record homelessness in America, especially in cities like Seattle, San Francisco, Portland, and LA.
I’m proud to say our research and journalism at Discovery Insitutute(@DiscoveryCWP) played a crucial role in this major development. 🧵👇🏽
Sources in the White House also tell me the executive order will strip federal funding for “harm reduction” initiatives that have enabled record drug overdose deaths. This is a worst case scenario for needle exchanges and the “homeless industrial complex.”
No more federal funding for “permanent supportive housing.”
Instead, all that money will now be put toward short term shelters, addiction treatment, and detox.
This executive order undercuts the entire business models for places like DESC and Plymouth Housing.
NEW: WA Congresswoman Pramila Jayapal(@RepJayapal) just introduced a bill that allows homeless people to camp on federal land if they have no other options. This was simply political theater and won't go anywhere. Here's the real problem for Jayapal. 🧵👇
Despite billions of dollars spent over the years, Washington state has the third largest homeless population in America with more than 31K people living on the streets. That's likely an undercount. This is all happening under Jayapal's watch.
Part of the problem is her far-left progressive ideology. Here's what she recently told the Seattle Times: “Because I don’t think that homelessness is a failure of the individual,” she said. “I think it’s a failure of the system. I think it’s a failure of our policymaking.”
NEW: Saturday evening, independent journalist
@camhigby got ambushed and sucker-punched by an Antifa thug. So far no arrests.
Higby says he suffered a concussion. But it could have been far worse if he wasn't wearing a helmet and carrying pepper spray. 🧵👇
Higby says Antifa acolyte Tyler Hahn is the one who outed him in the crowd and physically pinned him to the ground. But Higby says another man is the one who threw the punches.
Higby says this man right here is the primary attacker and threw the punches. Let’s make him famous. @SeattlePD
#BREAKING: Seattle restauranteur David Meinert says the massive Microsoft Build (@Microsoft) developer conference won't be returning to Seattle next year after attendees complained about urban decay, open-air drug use, and numerous tents lining the streets.
🧵👇
Meinert is also torching Mayor Bruce Harrell(@MayorofSeattle) for allowing these conditions to prosper in the downtown core and claims the Downtown Activation plan is bloated with bureaucracy and is lacking leadership.
Pro-Hamas protesters also disrupted Microsoft Build 2025 in Seattle, harassing attendees with insane glitter bombs.
NEW: Hundreds of evangelical Christians will pack Seattle City Hall Tuesday evening (5pm) to demand an apology and resignation from Mayor Bruce Harrell(@MayorofSeattle.)
Over the weekend, he called their concert an "extreme right-wing rally." 🧵👇
Instead of condemning the Antifa violence, the Mayor victim blamed the Christians and accused them of hosting their event at Cal Anderson Park to provoke the LGBTQ community. Here is the original release.
The Mayor lied. I have obtained an email showing the Christians actually wanted to host the concert at a park near Pike Place Market. The city suggested other options like Cal Anderson Park and then gave out the permit.
NEW: Earlier this month, the Trump administration released its Discretionary Budget and it significantly knee-caps America's failed Housing First approach to homelessness.
Which is why the "homeless industrial complex" is so scared and desperately trying to fight back.🧵👇
The Budget consolidates several homelessness programs under the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development.
Billions of dollars will be re-allocated to short-and medium term housing, hopefully incentivizing people to get their lives in order and get off the streets.
Local initiatives like "permanent supportive housing" in Seattle and Single Room Occupancy hotels in San Francisco could be getting cut-off. The focus will also be on enhancing shelters and getting people into housing that actually requires drug treatment.
