My latest Medium column is "Plato Would Ban Ad-Blockers: He was a dick."

Here's the #inflation story you're expected to believe (advance warning: this story is entirely false): America gave the poors too much money during the lockdown and now the #economy is awash in #FreeMoney, which made those poors so rich that now they're refusing to work. 1/

Hey @rooseveltinst, I *love* that this @JosephEStiglitz paper is released under a @creativecommons license, but just putting "CREATIVE COMMONS COPYRIGHT 2022 BY THE ROOSEVELT INSTITUTE" in the page footer doesn't actually work.
You need to choose *which* CC license, based on whether:
* Commercial reuse is permitted,
* Others can modify the work (on condition of noting the modifications)
* And if so, whether those new works must be released under the same terms as the original
If, for example, you wanted to permit commercial use and modifications without binding downstream users, you'd put something like "Licensed CC Attribution Only 4.0 creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.…"
That way others will have clarity on your expectations.
