Ask @JustinTrudeau Qs! Mine thread: /1 1. Where's the promised disability benefit?
2 Are females their own demographic entitled to our own words, sports, spaces and activism? 3. Should women be allowed to express dissent about gender identity ideology and censorship #billc11
/2. How much funding goes to promote the idea that TQ+ "identities" are marginalized and should be tied to LGB activism and organizations, even if LGBs don't agree? How does rebranding white, affluent college students as "diversity" via blue hair and they/them pronoun demands
/3.
help really promote diversity in Canada. Can't we promote the acceptance of diverse men and women without paying to medicalize them and fund them as non-men and non-women? How much money goes to programs like Gegi.Ca instead of poor, disabled and indigenous
/4 people who don't have clean drinking water.
The inflation crisis and housing crisis happened on your watch. How many chances should we give you before voting for admittedly terrible alternative, PP.
As a lefty, I despise him, but I despise you too.
Do I have cause?
/5 I call on all Canadians, especially ones who don't want to have vote Conservative, to demand that the Liberals and #NDP (or labour in the UK) get back to real work, real issues, & less performative, rebranding activism and political censorship. #billc11#Trudeau#NoToSelfID

The hatred of working class people by those who have taken over the left. A rambling thread. #takebacktheLEFT
I am strongly left leaning. I am the same kind of person who believed in the values that originally gave rise to parties such as Labour and Democrats.
I am not a revolutionary, I don't want social chaos. Many people like me became leftists because we wanted to see coal miners paid properly by rich factory owners and we wanted to see women be able to have choices other than being property of their husbands. The power and rise of the left came from these reasonable desires for fairness.
Unfortunately,
1/
3/ Unfortunately, the ideas behind leftism have some very serious limitations to them.
Don't get me wrong, think they were powerful ideas with important points to be made about exploitation. These analyses were important and valid, and I value them.
But what works in theory does not work in practice, at least not without limits.
One of the biggest problems on the left has been the fact that people who agree with leftist "analysis" of the problems have also bought into it's less useful solution and organizations.
We have seen that while many of the criticism of systemic greed that were valid were made by the left while certain remedies (revolution, forced collectivisation etc) were not.
Most people I know who vote to the left want regulation against capitalist excesses, they don't want to dismantle free enterprise. They also don't want to pay taxes for socialized medicine that goes fund the gender lobby (fake sex changes.)
The left of today is failing for a few reasons:
4/ The left of today is failing because instead of sticking to the goal of protecting the working class, it was hijacked to promote the interests of the academic and political class.
What happened to the left is part of what happens to most political movements that are founded on ideals:
those ideals get sold out, sometimes intentionally, sometimes through systemic failures.
Here's how it happened.
The left was built on ideas. Some of those ideas were good, and compelling.
Some of them were not so good.
But in order to promote the good and compelling ideas (protect the working class, pay people what they are worth, etc), we needed spokesmen. Those spokesmen were academics, polical people, and media workers. And THEY make their living by promoting ideas that don't solve problems. They make a living by promoting fake genders, academic programs, NGOs that get funding from the government they are supposed to be critical of.
As the left recruited affluent, Guardian class bourgeoisie people, we shouldn't be surprised to see the narratives of the left shift increasingly away from solving the problems of the working poor and into abstract narcissist agendas.
Likeability is our Achilles heel as a species. We trust and reward people we like. Predators know this, and the good predators hone their charm.
Like many people, I used to support a number of "trans" people that I liked, only fighting the excesses of the movement. Until I figured out a few things
1. The lie of trans identity itself is the excess. Nobody transitions, no altered man is more trans than another. Johnny Yaniv, David Hayton, Blaire White. They can claim to kinda be on our side but they want to retain the lie. It's the lie that is the problem.
Being nice makes people want to accommodate them. Being an ally on one issue (child transition, sports) makes people want to accommodate them.
But the accommodation of the lie is the problem.
This is where so-called ULTRAs have it right.
Men like Ray Blanchard are also very charming and well spoken, but again they want to retain an unworkable lie for some instead of working to dismantle it. He says it's unrealistic to dismantle it, but that's because he doesn't fight for it. He sees a world in which the men he sympathizes with use women's bathrooms and nothing can be done to stop it. He could instead fight for real treatment and real self control of these men.
"Nothing can be done" to stop it while men like him normalize it, that's why it persists. The medical establishment has no business normalizing this, it's overwhelmingly harmful to both the patient and others around them. But the medical and academic-medical establishment LIKE theoretical work. They like alterations. They like the idea that trans is a good and workable idea. They gain from it, they profit from it.
2/ Letting people you like have exceptions to do something that is wrong, is wrong. It's common, but it's wrong. We let people we like get away with things.
I get it, I have gay friends who identify with the trans model and there was a time I thought "who cares."
Until I found out how dangerous and harmful the illusion is. Like many, Ive tried to figure out how we can have it both ways. I am liberal, I like people to do what they want, within reason.
But giving men titty skittles and letting them have access to women's sports and spaces isn't within reason. It's unsafe, it's medically unsound, it is deception based.
Sure, there are individuals who are captured by the illusion who mean no harm. They are brainwashed, they think it's a thing.
It's up to the rest of us to say "it's not a thing. I'm sorry people told you it was a thing, but it's not. We are not playing along with it."
Medical, media and academic figures who MADE trans a thing have much to answer for
3/ James Saville. Jerry Sandusky. Well loved priests. People who are smooth and likeable may not be what you think they are. And those who ARE what you think they are (nice) might not be right or doing the right thing.
We forget this.
We see this online everyday. We amplify the voices of people who make us feel good. Who we like.
More often than those who are correct.
This is just a reminder. If you express outrage over men breastfeeding babies and asking for tampons from 11 year olds, but you promote the narrative that the "old style" trans are safe, you have two major inconsistencies to face. 1/
2/ First, men like JYaniv are post op and remain as dangerous as fully intact trenders. The men like Blaire White have so much support in this community but retain their penises. The idea that post op TS is safer than TG is arbitrary.
3/ Second. No one will explain how we support one without the other. The GRA and other certification processes were designed to screen the "safe ones" in. But that process is now shown to be arbitrary, poorly regulated, and confuses people about when they can question these men in our spaces.
Thirdly
Non-binary is trending,
Nobody is non-binary and the claim is much more than annoying narcissism and attention seeking.
It's the gender lobby's most effective tool to recruiting people to reject their sex class and to feel they have a stake in erasing sex class in language, law and policy. It's the fast track to convincing women to abandon their political class and claim a gender identity (which is designed to erase sex class in language, law, sports, and policy.) 1/ By declaring normal
2/ non-feminine, non-masculine aesthetics (appearance styles) as making some women non-women, they/thems, the gender lobby is able to recruit any women who reject femininity to take the societal and political stand that their appearance makes them non-women. Some of these women are bribed to support the agenda of sex class erasure, some have no idea what the implications are.
But the implications are that when women or society see non-feminine women as non-women and see feminized men as women, then the link between sex class the word WOMAN are severed.
When the word woman becomes detached from it's function as being a sex class identifier,
3/ women lose more than just the word woman. They lose the right to all of the sex-specific resources linked to the word woman. WOMEN'S sports are female-specific, ...until the word woman no longer refers to females because some females have opted out and men have opted in. The same happens with women's activism which becomes a male-inclusive and male dominated and female neglecting.
By convincing women they are non-women by presentation styles,
@SariboCook Feminism is activism FOR females BY females for FEMALE issues. Male inclusive and "genderology' feminism is the patriarchial establishment rebranding itself.
Also, most of us don't hate people who thnk they are trans. we hate the 1/
@SariboCook 2/ male rebranding, colonization, and rebranding. And we hate the unnecessary medialization for profit to simulate the oppose sex. None of these ideas are
@SariboCook 3/ left wing, pro woman, pro LGB or anti patriarchy.
You've bought the lie of the establishment because it's been sold to you effectively.
And
#SignsItMustBeACult is trending.
Gender identity ideology is a cult, but not only that, a harmful cult doing damage that most people are unaware of.
Thread of Damage 1/ First, while genderologists tell you it frees people from stereotypes, it doesn't do that. Instead of arguing to break stereotypes based on one's sex, it argues to redefine yourself by stereotypes, creating new boxes, new tribalism, and dissassocaition and medicalization that goes with those boxes
