"Ready to take your startup to the next level?
Here's a breakdown of the different funding stages to get you there."

A thread 🧵...
Startups typically go through several stages of funding as they grow and develop.

I am here for you to break down different stages of funding funding a startup goes through.
#startup #funding
So the first stage is

Seed funding: This is the earliest stage of funding, and it's used to get the startup off the ground. Seed funding can come from a variety of sources, including friends and family, angel investors, and seed funds.

Next stage is

Early-stage funding: This stage is also known as the "SERIES A" round. At this point, the startup has a working prototype or minimum viable product (MVP) and is seeking funding to bring it to market.

The Third stage is

Growth-stage funding: Also known as the "SERIES B" round, this stage is for startups that have proven their MVP and are seeking funding to expand and grow their business.
#expansion
The next stage is

Late-stage funding: This stage, also known as the "SERIES C" round, is for startups that are well-established and looking for funding to continue scaling their business.
#startup #business
The final stage is

IPO: An initial public offering (IPO) is when a private company becomes publicly traded on a stock exchange. This is a way for a company to raise a significant amount of capital by selling shares to the public.

These are the main stages of funding a startup. But a startup might go on multiple rounds in a single stage, some might even skip the seed funding and enter directly into SERIES A round.

Finally it depends on how well developed a company is to get into a funding round.
In addition to the traditional stages of funding, there are also alternative funding options available for startups. These include crowdfunding platforms, venture debt, and equity crowdfunding.

Now let's talk about how delayed gratification helps you in the long term.
There is an experiment performed on delayed gratification which is called marshmallow experiment.

In which a kid is being kept inside a room and he's given a marshmallow he's given a choice to either eat it or wait for another 15 minutes to get another one.
