28 December 2022| Another story was run without prior investigation about the deaths of 18 children from Indian syrup in Uzbekistan. Several media outlets again wrote headlines lambasting the Indian Pharma Industry. 7/n
However, the Ministry of Health of Uzbekistan stated that these children had overdosed on this syrup without a doctor's advice. India's drug regulatory body CDSCO has sought information from Uzbekistan on the matter. 8/n
