Katie Lees, 34-year-old Bridgeclimb instructor & stand-up comedian, received her 1st COVID-19 vaccine on July 22, 4 weeks into Sydney’s lockdown. “She was a v. community-minded person,” Lees’ mum said. “She wanted to do her bit to get society moving along.” Lees died. #clotshot
The morning of her shot, Lees told her father, Ian, she was “so proud” to be vaccinated as early as she could, after speaking with a GP.
Lees died 11 days later. Her initial reaction of rash and headaches was misdiagnosed in a telehealth appointment. When she got to the hospital, significant clots had formed in her brain.
A very heartbreaking story of sudden death today. A 21-year-old international student who just finished Baylor this year was found dead in his apartment on 12/11. #SADS
Police was made aware of the situation because the takeout order he made before his death was still hanging on his door. No signs of drug use or foul play, and autopsy found his coronary arteries were extensively blocked.
So the coroner’s diagnosis was a heart attack leading to sudden cardiac death.
People ask me, but, wait, how is it possible that something can have these bad side effects for some people but not for everyone? They say, my family doesn’t believe there’s a connection. I’m a science writer and investigative health journalist so I’ve been investigating this.
I’ve put this question to several doctors now. A neurologist explained that every human is different. We have different genetics, different previous health exposures and environmental assaults, and different biochemistry.
I interviewed a mom who gets migraines. The only thing that works for her is Tylenol. (Which is best avoided.) I interviewed another mom who said Tylenol does nothing for her. It doesn’t blunt her head pain at all. It also never helped her mother.
“Amazon's Jeff Bezos and Facebook's Mark Zuckerberg had the biggest gains.” cnbc.com/2020/05/21/ame…
🇺🇸 billionaires saw fortunes RISE by $434 billion during the lockdown between mid-March and mid-May. While most of the rest of us aren’t sure how to feed our families they’re laughing all the way to the bank.
Jeff Bezos added $34.6 billion to his wealth and Mark Zuckerberg picked up $25 billion. One of the main things they do with their wealth and power: promote censorship and encourage anti-health policies that harm American’s children.
