Do not, I repeat, do not, allow a doctor or nurse take your baby away after the baby is born.
There is no reason--zero--for a mom and baby to be separated after birth, barring a true emergency. Anything that needs to be done or checked can be done with the baby ON YOUR CHEST.

Katie Lees, 34-year-old Bridgeclimb instructor & stand-up comedian, received her 1st COVID-19 vaccine on July 22, 4 weeks into Sydney’s lockdown. “She was a v. community-minded person,” Lees’ mum said. “She wanted to do her bit to get society moving along.” Lees died. #clotshot

A very heartbreaking story of sudden death today. A 21-year-old international student who just finished Baylor this year was found dead in his apartment on 12/11. #SADS
Police was made aware of the situation because the takeout order he made before his death was still hanging on his door. No signs of drug use or foul play, and autopsy found his coronary arteries were extensively blocked.

People ask me, but, wait, how is it possible that something can have these bad side effects for some people but not for everyone? They say, my family doesn’t believe there’s a connection. I’m a science writer and investigative health journalist so I’ve been investigating this.
