Mamaearth's parent company, Honasa Consumer has filed draft papers with SEBI

The company is seeking INR 400 crores($54 Million) through the IPO. This included
-400 Crores Fresh issue
-80 Crores in pre-IPO fundraising

A total of 4.68 crore shares will be offered for sale as the part of IPO

Venture capitalists like Sofina Ventures, Kunal Bahl, Fireside Ventures, Stellaris Ventures and celebrity investors like Shilpa Shetty, Rishabh Harsh Mariwala, & Rohit Kumar will sell their shares.

Founders and promoters Varun Alagh and Ghazal Alagh will dilute 6.8% and 0.2% of their equity.

The proceeds from the IPO will be used for
-Brand Awareness
-Capital Expenditure
-Investment in another company: BBlunt

Let's look at its financials:

Operating Revenue in FY20: INR 110 Crores
Operating Revenue in FY21: INR 460 Crores
Operating Revenue in FY22: INR 943 Crores

Not only the revenues, the company's profits after tax has also been growing from INR 428Crores in FY20 to INR 1333 Crores in FY21. It recorded INR 14 crores for FY 22 and INR 4 CR for H1FY23.
