A strong economy, competitiveness, and a clean future—we're making it happen.

Europe’s rich industrial heritage has a bright future ahead.

The #CleanIndustrialDeal is our plan to support 🇪🇺 industry to make it sustainable, competitive, and future-ready ↓ An illustration split into two contrasting halves. The left side is in grayscale and depicts a polluted, industrialized world with oil pumps, smokestacks emitting thick smoke, cut tree stumps, and a woman driving a car surrounded by pollution. The right side is colorful and represents a clean, sustainable future with wind turbines, solar panels, green hills, trees, and a woman in safety gear working in the renewable energy sector. The text at the top reads 'OUR CHOICE IS CLEAR,' with 'IS CLEAR' highlighted in blue. The European Commission logo is in the top right corner.
💡Affordable energy is the foundation of competitiveness.

Our Action Plan adopted today will lower energy bills for industries, businesses and households.

More clean energy, more efficiency using energy and less dependence on imported fossil fuels.
🇪🇺 The Industrial Decarbonisation Accelerator Act will increase demand for EU-made clean products.

The criteria of #madeinEurope, sustainability, and resilience will be introduced in public and private procurements.

The EU continues to ramp up pressure against Russia’s ability to finance its war of aggression.

We welcome the adoption by the Council of the 16th sanctions package.

This package targets systemically important sectors of the Russian economy ↓

#StandWithUkraine
Key sectors targeted include energy, trade, transport, infrastructure, and financial services ↓
153 vessels are now targeted by our measures.

EU sanctions enable the EU to list vessels that support Russia’s warfare against Ukraine. And now allow the listing of those who supported the operations of unsafe oil tankers. A visual showing in a Ukrainian-themed flag the text: ANTI-CIRCUMVENTION MEASURES 74 new vessels listed from Russia’s shadow fleet or contributed to Russia’s energy revenues, bringing the total to 153. A new listing criterion to target those supporting unsafe oil tankers operations. Export restrictions on 53 new companies supporting Russia’s military-industrial complex or engaged in sanction circumvention.
