This is what CRT is for. I kid you not
This is related. Beggars belief right? rightwingwatch.org/post/the-right…
It is already starting here. You may wonder why folk would stir up such obvious lies about schools? It is so hugely profitable to destroy our state education, same as state healthcare
No depth to which these people will not sink for power and profit
The same mechanism playing out across all sectors, run down and discredit state profusion, weaken and break up local and central management structures, ensure those whose consciences may be bothering them get a salve for it
It is such a tangled web and the requirement in the #SchoolsBill to make all schools academies and outsourcing of lesson plans gives public sector the exposure

Here is how it played out in our children's homes. Negligence has ramped up in the name of profit
A nexus point for some of that, this is the man who owned then sold those children's homes to a private equity firm theguardian.com/politics/2022/…
On Office for Students being set up to amplify concocted concern
We are being sold off bit by bit and the government has created a culture war that sees teachers, nurses, our Black community and LGBTW people terrorised to do it Image
More related references in this thread, we should not fall for it
The usual suspects supporting the activists trying to create panic to then leverage to take schools over

Starve them out with funding cuts, discredit with a culture war to get the local community to support change

A private equity feeding frenzy
More on that new Office for Students story. I bet you wondered why all the 'free speech' merchants were all a rampage at the moment? This is why
As always @BylineTimes have been surfacing history and sponsors for it
This is destroying social cohesion for profit. If you all search your hearts it makes sense doesn't it?

H/T @sianushka again here bylinetimes.com/2022/01/13/ins…
Factionsin the US that pushed this and supportive lobbyists have imported the same here

Rep factions and backers playing out a pro wresting set piece, in attempt to secure more power from House Speaker candidates
Destroying truth and trust makes people tear communities apart

It rebounds onto our democratic institutions, as an administration that must run on self-interested division, cannot (by definition) secure the consensus to govern

It is the oxymoron premium
We end up with memes and crisis mgmt to appease rebel factions who have stomach for the fallout & continuation of demonisation

Guess which characters are now pushing hardest against Retained EU Law Bill delay and saying NHS needs private health insurance?
The same characters who support a crack down on unions and new laws to break strikes with agency workers
All very tightly woven together with the lobbyists prevalent in Whitehall bylinetimes.com/2020/12/08/alt…
As illustrated in this thread. There is seemingly no-one who won't be in the crosshairs to turn a good profit and divide our nation, supported by govt

We accepted it for migrants LGBTW folk, lawyers, now we all have it for our nurses, paramedics, and teachers
We should take a lesson from the lengths gone to and fallout in the US
We should listen to those who have been raising the alarms
An inevitable typo *state provision

That is what is the primary target, in keeping with market fundamentalism
Described here in a thread about the Retained EU Law Bill #REUL A restrained, but equally carefully referenced one

Making it make sense will help some as it helped me. Now we have to make it stop. For the sake of our country
We should stop giving the people who have helped to architect this credulous air time in our media

If you thought radical deregulation and work to clear rights decks had gone after Truss, you were wrong

#REUL, calls for repeal of Human Rights Act and bad faith calls for ECHR withdrawal go on. Do note who shouts loudest for all of that
*state provision
It is not hard to discern interested parties
*LGBTQ folk - why typos in the most important tweets *sigh*. Some bonus content on attacks on that community
It is not hard to see connections when you know where to look for them. If you benefit. Fine. Is all the hate and harm acceptable to you?
Back to #NHSCrisis, quoted is a medic replying to @RoyLilley. Roy had explained why NHS trusts and staff cannot speak freely. Comms control

Pictured is The Sunday Times chief health correspondent. Recipient of leaks from staff with no other option Image
Finally over again to Grieve, ousted for his foresight about this trajectory

I did it twice! *LGBTQ people. What on earth is my autocorrect playing at?
One further addition. I have managed to autocorrect *LGBTQ wrong in two separate tweets. Apologies to for that

When we allow people to be demonised for who they are or what they believe, when they are not illegally breaching the rights of others, we all lose
Which is why we should not allow #HumanRights to be conditional

Upshot of Raab's #BillOfRights Bill and bad faith demands for ECHR withdrawal Image
Further correction (bit of a rush to surface the profit motive this morning)

The featured photo for the quoted piece is not the person who sold the children's' homes. Relevant excerpts from that article. Accuracy is vital, maybe why I tweet about deception In March, Oluwole Kolade wa...ImageKolade is a managing partne...

I know I have showered you all with tweets today, but if just some of them come up in searches for CRT as RW shibboleth for denial of any kind of institutional racism, to leverage to make that a moral weapon to target teachers, then it will be worth it
You may have forgotten this but it was Braverman who put CRT on the govt agenda, not so long ago. If you are honest, is that a huge surprise? rightwingwatch.org/post/the-right…

I wrote this long thread for a past GBNews colleague Grimes, but it might help to add more context

The thing so often missing here

Responding to the points on their terms is often futile. A tough call
But we have to give JHB, like Farage, 10/10 for projection

Retweeted that because parallels to the campaign tactics were apparent
Included it in this thread of Jan 6th events in case any interested
Actually that was the thread drawing out the UK parallels, this was on the day

Darren doing the 'they wouldn't let us...' bit. 'free speech' warriors are all clutching pearls, while elsewhere on social media pushing outrage farming nonsense completely free to do so
A bit of a run down in a mo on why this is happening. Grimes of course was one of Vote Leave's primary fiction promo stalwarts
Here is some more detail on why he wants us all upset about what we can't say, while similar bodies keep courting clicks saying it all

Just another typo in this long thread *wrestling - but now in round 10 with Flynn and Gaetz part farcically, part terrifyingly pushing Trump as Speaker

Coinciding with a bring back Boris circus, the US / UK cross-infection should be obvious now to most folk
Perspective on what must look like a big reach of a random statement. So many roads back to corporate media, Bannon, and various overseas interests bylinetimes.com/2022/09/14/ame…
Johnson maybe getting a safer seat having worn out constituent support during his c.£1m speaking circuit at the taxpayers' expense. Grift is the thing I argue ties them together most theguardian.com/politics/2023/…
