Before talking about the most important though - some hypocritic messages about "Chirstmas Truce" from russians -clearly for cheap propaganda effect after, less than a week ago, russians murdered civilians who prepared to celebrate New Year, similarly with Dec 25th attacks->
As discussed in yesterday's post, French decision to provide AFVs to Ukraine was itself a hugely important shift (now, obviously, not w/o coordination with allies) and even somewhat earlier than I'd expect after the French message - NATO armor supplies are unblocked for Ukraine->
After hundreds of thousands people murdered by russians and 10 months of war and it could have a greated effect if decision was made back last Spring, but ofc it's still an extremely quick, probably unprecendented tempo (in modern times) w/ which Ukraine switched to NATO arms->
Like discussed yesterday, Western arms, AFVs, MBTs, aircrafts are first of all of strategic importance as Ukraine cannot rely on soviet systems for much longer, so, while more armor would have greater effect for Autumn offensive, NATO AFVs for Ukraine is about long-term future->
But if you recall the messages about russian preparations for a new offensive - everything's apparently quite dangerous that West speeds up armor aid and still AFU will be outmanned & outganned by russians, still need support to mitigate the disparity savelife.in.ua/en/donate-en/#β¦
