Crackpot chairman of @massgop, @JimLyonsMA, is embarking on his "Defeat Tour" next week, trying to alibi for his unbroken string of electoral disasters that have decimated the state GOP since he began turning party into a political death cult.
If you go to one of these meetings, steer clear of the refreshments:

Jim Jones Lyons is going to blame all of the fiascoes he is solely responsible for on the walkout by not-insane state committee members at a meeting last winter.
They left after Lyons refused to seat winner of committee election, as certified by state judicial decision. (Much more coming on that "winner" who was really loser next week.)

Now Jim Jones Lyons wants another term on Jan. 31 to finish the job of destroying MA GOP.

@massgop treasurer Patrick Crowley moments ago emailed all state committee members a demand letter he received from a North Shore private investigator saying that his company is owed $53,217 by @massgop & @JimLyonsMA. Image
The bill is for an Oct. investigation “including rumors that candidate Healey was sleeping with female subordinates while serving as Massachusetts Attorney General.”
According to an invoice from the company, the probe ordered by Lyons included “surveillance” & contact with 211 former employees of the AG’s office. ImageImage

Crackpot chairman of @MassGOP, @JimLyonsMA, has lost one of the 30-odd (very odd) votes he desperately needs to retain death grip on Jonestown-like cult he has turned state party into.
Meet Sleepy Tom Maloney, childhood chum of Jim “Jones” Lyons. Maloney had been expected to guzzle a big jar of Jim Jones’ Kool Aid Jan. 31 as state committeeman from suburban Norwood-Canton district.
But look, Maloney’s seat is now listed on @MassGOP website as “Vacant.”

Jim “Jones” Lyons finally announced date of election for chairman: Jan. 31, last possible day under rules. Meaning: he doesn’t yet have votes to keep himself on payroll for new term.
