This first episode was a great introduction to the four members of Lyrical Lily, who were the only ones left of the six starting units to not get in on the anime.
Episode itself was mostly set-up, but fun. #D4DJ_AllMix 01
So, let's answer the question we know many are wondering about.
Are Hayate and Kokoa, the girls that are canonically dating and have kissed in-game, in this anime?
This first episode took place right after new years, Hayate and Kokoa don't start attending Arisugawa Academy until April.
It seems each episode might be one month across a year, so they will appear in episode 4 at the earliest. #D4DJ_AllMix 01
Here's the good news. The two are dating *before* they start high school, so once we see them they will already be a couple! #D4DJ_AllMix 01
But yeah, fun first episode. Enjoyed it a lot. If you liked the first season you'll like this too, if you didn't... well, probably not. #D4DJ_AllMix 01

Which were not about girls doing sports?
Those were just the ones we listed before running out of space.
Uma Musume sure as hell is focused on their version of derby too, even if it's a bit unique.
Not saying all of those shows were good, mind you. But they were about girls doing sports, like, what the hell is that supposed to even mean?
So, in the D4DJ Petit Mix anime shorts, there was a punchline in one episode where Aoi, the butch dansou lady, stepped up out of the hot springs and supposedly had THE BIGGEST MELONS OF THEM ALL - despite usually being flat.
It was depicted as such.
Well... It was recently canonized with the D4DJ's game's new years art that Aoi does, indeed, have huge tits.
That's Aoi on the right.
Meaning she likely uses a binder whenever she's in her usual attire.
Weebs stop calling any girl that has an uncomfortable scene a yandere challenge - difficulty: impossible
Does the character act out violently out of personal obsession and possession of the one they claim to love, towards their target of affection and anyone who threatens their relationship?
No?
Then they're not a yandere.
Things that don't make a character a yandere in isolation:
Being mentally ill.
Being hyper-violent.
Being jealous.
A character can be all of those things without being a yandere.
For those not up to date on The Witch from Mercury's episode situation.
Because of covid, production on episode 12 ran late and missed the deadline for streaming services. So it'll stream a day late.
The TV airing in Japan, and the SEA YouTube upload, went up today.
So if you want to watch it today, you have to watch the Japanese version or hope that fan subs drop throughout the day, otherwise it'll stream tomorrow instead.
We would personally recommend watching the Japanese release, it's fairly easy to follow and there are moments you want to make sure you see unspoiled.
