SAME DEAL: Did a drive by today on 3rd Ave+Holgate St. in SODO. It's been cleared multiple times, but once again, the tents and RV's have been back now for months. @CMTammyMorales MIA again on this issue. No timeline on this getting removed. #Seattle @MayorofSeattle @KC_RHA

PRESCIENT CALL: Back in July 2022, these biz owners said NO DOUBT campers would return and wanted to see how long it would take for city of #Seattle to remove them. More than 6 months later, 3rd Ave. & Holgate St is worse than ever. @MayorofSeattle @KC_RHA

SODO STORIES: Remember these fellas last year? For months I documented stories in #Seattle's RV community. Many say they are NOT HOMELESS because they live in vehicles. They KNOW Seattle provides a CONSTELLATION of services supporting this lifestyle.

BEEN THERE DONE THAT: Back in July, I talked to these homeless men and women in SODO. Many said they would come right back. And they have! I'm starting to recognize the same people, RV's, and vehicles. Biz owners asking, "Why not enforce right away?"

AMERICAN TRAGEDY: A generation of drug addicts are dying on #Seattle's streets. Especially in these tent/RV encampments in SODO attracting drug dealers who prey on these lost souls. Why is city allowing this? @CMTammyMorales @MayorofSeattle @SeattleCouncil

SODO BOYS: They showed me how to use meth and fentanyl. They're even sober enough to know giving away HOUSING to an addict without conditions is a recipe for disaster. #Seattle @GovInslee

REPEAT CUSTOMERS: Stephen and Mike keep coming back to this SODO encampment because they say no one bothers them and majority of people here do drugs. They also know city won't sweep for a while. #Seattle

FIGHTS AND VIOLENCE: I've been tracking this SODO RV encampment in Seattle for months. Aside from open air drug use, most common issue I have personally witnessed are street fights. This RV owner was holding a rock, accused young man of theft.
