How did we end up with $28.43 trillion in federal debt?

Debt is up by $12 trillion since 2019. That means the federal government had a serious spending problem even before the demands of the pandemic and they knew they had a problem but they still kept spending.
The Federal government needed to spend your money more than you did.

That's why they bought an elementary school gym scoreboard at a 491% markup: $13,000.

Texas Democrat update:

An inside source in Austin has just informed us that @juliejohnsonTX and @jessicafortexas are not currently in Washington DC. They're on vacation in Portugal.

If untrue, State Reps Johnson and Gonzalez should prove their current whereabouts to voters.
Our newsroom called Julie's cellphone earlier today to ask where she was currently located. Someone who sounds exactly like Julie answered the phone and then told us we had the wrong number after we identified ourselves. It was pretty obvious we didn't have the wrong number.
Several hours later… the fact that these two clowns still haven’t responded to tell me I’m wrong says a lot. Of course, it’s late at night in Portugal so they’re probably fast asleep. Or rushing to an airport
