For clarity and sound understanding, we need to understand what philanthropic efforts they were part of, individually.

Chris and his wife Operated a foundation called the Chris & Vicky Cornell Foundation. By their description, their foundation aimed at helping vulnerable refugee adult and children, at risk for 𝗵𝘂𝗺𝗮𝗻 𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴.

So let's get into what got us here. There was a narrative that went VIRAL on social media.

The theory espoused that Chris Cornell and Chester Bennington were involved in funding and backing an up-and-coming documentary on child sex trafficking, called "THE SILENT CHILDREN".

What was the source for this theory? A single tweet.
