*His ideas ,writings and speeches contributed spread of Hindu philosophy in West, like Advaita Vedanta and Yoga philosophies.
*his books-Raja-yoga, Karma-yoga, Jnana-yoga and Bhakti-yoga

* He addressed the World Parliament of Religions, which was held in Chicago, America, in 1893
