1/ One of the prominent names listed on We 💚 Seattle's new coalition is the Cicero Institute. Who are they ?

A far right think tank based in TX & funded by libertarian tech bros who belive the answer to homelessness is camping bans.

2/ Cicero's Co Founder, Joe Lonsdale, is the other half of Plantir, who used their tech to help ICE separate migrant families at the border, during the #familyseperation policy in 2017 & 2018.

1/ At the same time that Snohomish County announced it's experiencing a 10 year high in homelessness, the city of Edmonds passed an ordinance criminalizing public camping in city limits.

2/ What makes Edmond's public camping ban exceptionally cruel is that since the city has no available shelter, it forces unsheltered people to either risk a $1k fine and/or jail time, or find a way to the nearest shelter 35 miles away.

1/ WHS has sent at least a few unhoused individuals from Seattle to the Bybee Lakes Hope Center located in North Portland, Oregon. Bybee Lakes is a former jail converted into a shelter, that has been called ‘exploitative'......

2/ Bybee Residents have to pay a $250 membership fee after the 30-60 day scholarship period to live there and are required to stay sober. If they can't pay or slip out of sobriety they end up back on the streets.

1/ Defend SPD, the group who has been organizing/co organizing pro SPD rallies in Seattle are actually racist and anti black and are getting ALOT of assistance from SPD.

Let's take a look at their FB group.
2/ The group goes beyond just being Pro SPD. They are also pushing back against equity and ethics studies at seattle public schools, with the assistance of Safe Seattle
3/ This Defend SPD group *really* doesn't like anti racism. Note: This is one of the organizers of the group and a white woman.

According to this we're "brainwashing" our black children.

1/ For over 30+ years, there has been much debate and discussion over one of our high school's (Juanita High) 'Rebel' Mascot, which has been openly associated with the confederate flag and imagery

This happened just an hour ago tonight.

A driver in a white Jaguar intentionally ran through barricades to run over peaceful #BlackLivesMatter protesters on I5 in #Seattle, and hit 2 people. Pls help bring this driver to justice
There was a livestream by Diaz Love of this very same protest, that captured the moments before the car hit (1:44:24 mins in).

That thud you hear at the end is the same one heard at the beginning of the previous video. Diaz was reportedly hit.

This is the aftermath, live streamed by @WWConverge. The driver clearly intended to do serious harm and swerved to hit protesters. They are alive, but I don't know the extent/severity of their injuries.
