On today's episode of Entertainment Weekly Plus
The show brought in a lawyer and asked about the contract
Lawyer notes that the payout split is unlike typical contracts, noting that if the costs are 60% of the revenue, the artist cannot make any money
The investigative team called Blockberry Creative - when the contract was brought up, they simply said that Chuu and her parents understood the contract terms when signing

Noting that an economics Youtube channel (The Investing Worker) covered the contract the other day and pointed out how the term "revenue" and "profit" are very different but often used interchangeably in casual conversation, which is a point of confusion -
