APP: Initially she attended, then application was rejected, then again she gave her mobile phone. But she gave after deleting the alleged explicit video clip.
APP: So I have suggested that section 201 of IPC - which is destruction of evidence. If there is material to be investigated, then she should have kept it.
Court: But those videos must be available in the news reports?
Petitioner: Those videos are available on public domain like YouTube and Google. It is not like she has created those videos.
Court: Do you want her presence in station?
APP: The IO is not present.
Court: Okay I will hear you in the presence of IO tomorrow.
Petitioner: In the meantime protection may be granted.
Court: yes do not take action against her till tomorrow.
Gujarat High Court is hearing a suo motu PIL pertaining to the tragic incident of the collapse of Julto Pul (Morbi bridge) in which over 135 people lost their lives.
Amicus: There was a query by this court as to how the private contractor allowed to use the bridge despite there being no approval by the General Board, Morbi Nagar Palika. Till now no proper answer is given.
