Fact Check:

Dear Parent,

Have you taken your daughter for the HPV vaccine?

Here is why you need to do it:

🧵
Cervical cancer is caused by certain types

of human papillomavirus (HPV)

and can often be prevented with a vaccine.
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC)

recommends that all children aged 11 or 12

should receive the HPV vaccine.

The vaccine can also be given to anyone

between the age of 9 and 45

who has not yet been vaccinated.
The HPV vaccine is safe and effective.

It is not just for girls,

it is also recommended for boys

to protect them from HPV-related cancers and diseases

such as:

Cancers of the mouth/throat, penis, anus, as well as genital warts.
Getting the HPV vaccine is an important step

in protecting yourself from cervical cancer.

It is also important to get regular cervical cancer screenings,

even if you have been vaccinated.
Don't forget to talk to your healthcare provider

about getting the HPV vaccine

and getting screened for cervical cancer.

Together, we can help prevent cervical cancer

and save lives.

Instead, ask your darling governor to employ more clinicians.

And the queues will move faster.
🧵
When you fail to get your prescribed medicines

at the county hosp. pharmacy,

yet you doggedly pay for your NHIF,

do not hurl insults the pharmacist/pharmacist attendant.

In stead, ask your governor to stock the pharmacies

in county hospitals.
When the lab. attendants asks you to find a lab. outside the hospital

where you can conduct some of the lab. tests,

it's not that they own those laboratories.

Ask your county government to equip hosp. laboratories

and service faulty equipment.
