There is an ironic contradiction about #Elon’s Twitter report system that explains itself into a loop. Where reporting small accounts for #transphobia results in suspensions but reporting #/AndyNgo & #/LoTT for the same yields no results. Why this intentionality?
As what was exposed in #Elons #TwitterFiles leaks, #/LoTT received special considerations for their reports. An arrangement was made to not act on these reports before first speaking with members of the Board. This played a crucial role in #/LoTT success & growth.
It is not an accident that Queer community members have the “power” to object nebulous transphobes online while leading mouthpieces of the transphobe movement receive protection from #TwitterInc.
That short act makes us feel it isn’t tolerated, when exceptionally it’s protected.

This contradiction of care for the Queer community is the “gotcha” inclusion-paradox that #Elons #Twitter uses to show that they act on transphobic hate, when actually, they use their platform to force-multiply transphobic rhetoric and hate crimes.
Conversely, this contradiction serves to further radicalize the fascist reactionary. While they can witness these major platforms espousing deadnames, targeting protected groups & misgendering victims of violence, they are robbed of the privilege and feel silenced.
This forces the reactionary to feel they’re truly being targeted & stolen from, despite being the aggressor of hate, and further pushes them into insular spaces where they can project their hate among like-minded & validated echo chambers.
The truth is that there is not equal enforcement in either policy or practice from #TwitterInc to keep protected classes safe, and the inconsistency of enforcement shows a pattern whether by intention or accident. These contradictions effect violence in the real world.
So long as major mouthpieces of transphobic hate can spur real world violence by protection of #ElonsTwitter, they are culpable in lives hurt and taken from our Queer community. And so long as these contradictions grow, the violence against us does too.
If #TwitterInc will not provide equal enforcement against popular transphobes & hate-mongers, then it becomes the responsibility of our communities to face these protected transphobes in the real world, and directly.
