@mferreriptbokaw I was hoping for some action with the recent 6-week House of Commons recess, making Ms. Ferreri available to accomplish something for us during her time here. As we can all attest, this certainly hasn’t happened in her 16 months as our MP. Ms. Ferreri returned to Ottawa today.

During this 6-week HoC recess, where MPs return to their Ridings to work, taxpayers paid her a salary of $21,346 + expenses: office and staff in both Ottawa & locally, gas, food, mileage, a student event etc. Giving her 2 weeks off for Christmas, she had 4 weeks available to her.

Unfortunately, she spent her time here much like her LinkedIn bio says: pre-MP experience: self-employed for 8 yrs as a speaker, content creator, digital storyteller, blogger & marketing consultant. $21,346 + expenses! My Q now becomes, “When will she actually become an MP?”

Call me crazy: over the last 2 weeks, I've tracked her postings and collected data on Ms. Ferreri’s social media use for her last 2 weeks in our Riding, Jan 13/23 – Jan 26/23, trying to answer the question “Did any of her activity improve the lives of Constituents?”

Creepy I know, & such a discouraging task. But I wanted to understand & see the patterns of what she actually does every day, since we know she documents her every move. FYI, our MP posts to 5 social media channels, 3 of these on a daily basis, as well as hosting her own website.

Here's what I found.
•Total = 165 posts/13 days, avg 12-13/day.
•⬆️was 19 posts in 1 day.
•⬆️# of posts goes to self-promotion (46), next⬆️ is bashing our PM (35).
•Multiple topics every day, no thread of focus.
•⬇️is Riding Action: ONE Zoom mtg with elected official.

I found no evidence of
•at her desk working on funding,
•working collaboratively with Riding leaders to find or offer solutions,
•meeting with newly-elected Municipal Councils,
•meeting with our MPP re: Doug Ford’s negatively impactful legislation across many sectors.

Take what you will from all this, trolls will be blocked. I will now attempt to ignore her as best as I’m humanly able b/c as our elected official, she is bringing nothing to this community except marketing, the sowing of discontent & giving us her opinions. There is No Action.
