What Really Happened, Volume 2:
After launching a petition last week (with the help of her taxpayer-paid staff) to overthrow the government, #Ptbo MP @mferreriptbokaw starts this week in Committee, returning to her roots of “Its not for video clips”. Indeed. The next chapter,🧵: Image @mferreriptbokaw Y’day, her colleague moved a motion for 6 Ministers to appear before them for 1 hr each, WITHIN A WEEK. With no “next meeting” scheduled! An impossible ask, coordinating 6 Minister schedules in such a short time period for a mtg with up to a dozen MPs, + translators + staff.

@mferreriptbokaw I was hoping for some action with the recent 6-week House of Commons recess, making Ms. Ferreri available to accomplish something for us during her time here. As we can all attest, this certainly hasn’t happened in her 16 months as our MP. Ms. Ferreri returned to Ottawa today.

Many decry the decline of #Ptbo, drastic rise in societal ills since ~2018. A direct line can be drawn from who we elected, and its not Municipal. General characteristic? Liberals spend, Conservatives do not. I've never lived under an NDP gov't, so I'll trust others to chime in. In June 2018, Ont chose @OntarioPCParty, with @DaveSmithMP unseating Jeff Leal (Lib) after 15 yrs. @NDPptbo came 2nd, by 2,386 votes. Our 1st rep with no political experience & a party that doesn't spend $, prefers the private sector to step in.

We visited the UK for a month in 2016, left a wk before Brexit vote. Seismic, unexpected societal change happened so fast, the world was spinning. Same shock with Trump's win. The opp to tap into & exploit a country's vulnerable moments. #Ottawa feels the same. Who's funding it? The similarities are chilling. The point of all 3 is destabilization, the UK/US impact now at 6 yrs. Which is why, among many other reasons, #IStandWithTrudeau. There is no negotiating here, hauling massive amounts of fuel and building sheds = disaster waiting to happen. #cdnpoli
