Covid Reinfections in people with #LongCovid

Initial findings from our survey of almost 600 adults and children asking how #pwLC are affected when they get Covid again

Respondents were:

484 adults; age 20-79; 82% female
112 children & young people age 3-19; 57% female
From 30 countries; top 3 – England 48%; USA 16%; Scotland 9.2%

Number of infections:
- 2 infections 85%
- 3 infections 13%
- >3 infections 2%
Of those who still had #LongCovid at the time of reinfection
- 80% had a worsening of symptom severity
- 10% had an improvement in symptom severity
- 85% had either a return of old symptoms or new additional symptoms
- 10% had a resolution or improvement in symptoms
