Commons Journal made a decision to quit the Progressive International. 1/7

We consider the PI Cabinet’s stance on the Russian invasion in Ukraine shameful. In our view, their statement from March 4, 2022, was nothing but an attempt to eschew the necessity to unequivocally condemn the imperialist aggression against Ukraine. 2/7

Moreover, Paweł Wargan, who coordinates the International secretariat, has supported a group of Greek communists who blocked supplies of arms to Ukraine.We interpret this as his support for Russian imperialism, since weakening the victim’s defense aids and abets the aggressor 3/7
