You have to understand that the Govt is no longer functioning for it's own electorate, the whole ideology of libertarians is to abolish state intevention by tailoring laws as services that companies demand in a deregulated UK, the whole point of Brexit!

Local Authorities adjacent to Sunak's Freeports; Thurrock, Kent, Hampshire, Liverpool councils, have issued Section 114 notices or have already had commissioners appointed to take over in recent months. Section 114's effectively declare a council bankrupt via a firesale of assets
Local Authorities will be dismantled via 'purposely engineered insolvency' by Combined County Authorities. New CCA's will be a hotbed of corruption operating at local level overseen by corporate stooges, next up cities will be privatised with laws as 'services'. #Libertarian
Here's the Levelling Up and Regeneration Bill (LURB) it's sibling is the REUL Bill. This is corporate hegemony in action, you defund local councils, blame their failures and then re-legislate for private interests to govern regions beyond Govt reach.

The Tories endless scandals and corruption are symptoms of what's coming next in post Brexit UK. Their behaviour shows you what kind of Britain they are remaking, it is in their own image. Once they deregulate the hell out of everything, absolute legalized lawlessness will reign.
Most people are unaware of the transatlantic models of libertarianism Tories are adopting to entrench capital accumulation by hook or by crook. Ideology of anti governance goes back to the 1920s/30s where Italy and UK used austerity as a weapon removing the obstacle of democracy.
Economists and libertarians like Hayek, Friedman Rand, Buchanan, Fisher, Smedley devised partisan think tanks whose directive was to never disclose the hugely unpopular core tenets of libertarianism to the public for fear of losing their charity status.

Always shocked to learn that 96% of Brits cannot name a single thinktank. A twofold problem remains at play, corporate lobbyists influence on shaping Govt policy to libertarian partisan ends and the cover of academic rigour in their titles like 'institute' and 'centre'.
Dark money sets the political agenda that enters Govt via the revolving door, a key cog in this transaction is the fomenting of the 'Anglosphere'. In short this meant leaving the EU by pooling nations to deregulate and form new trade relations with white, english speaking nations
Brexit birthed by Shanker Singham, Matthew Elliot, Liam Fox, Dan Hannan gained ground by linking with Murdoch and a slurry of r/w transatlantic thinktanks all corporate funded (+tax payers money under charity status) Russia also hugely invested. British establishment compromised.
