When a government realizes it has failed, it resorts to haphazard and uncoordinated putting up of infrastructure to confuse the uninitiated and fickle minds
It's an age old tactic
So you realize every 2 weeks, NPP aparachiks will drop a road being constructed or a school building saying Akufo-Addo is working
We owe road contractors over 5bn cedis and anytime we give them deadline to pay, we fail
However we should praise Akufo-Addo he's constructing roads
Every 2 weeks, they will drop a video of Vice President launching some IT platform to aid operations and we are told it's the 8th wonder of the world
The same man has clandestinely refused to speak about the biggest economic debates we have
He's head of Economic Management Team
If you've followed Ghanaian politics for a while, you'd realize all what gov't aparaciks are waiting for is for the opposition to "mess up" so they switch the conversation to less important matters
* Haruna Idrissu changed
* NIA release on Kusi Boateng
* Hate speech by NDC
These people failed to discuss the Auditor General's report into covid funds but today are spending 1 hour discussing the Attorney General's letter to the Auditor General to withdraw that report from its website because it's unconstitutional
No conscience and love for country
When Ato Forson and Adongo said Bank of Ghana had illegally printed money to finance the government expenditure, these people attacked and mocked the 2
Fast forward in 3months and BOG is admitting but these same people are quiet
Iqtar kullah
So the current conversation is not even about NDC because elections is 2 years away but if we don't find solutions to our current economic crisis ASAP, many of us won't live to witness that elections
Be a citizen and hold your leaders accountable because they are messing up
President Akufo-Addo and Ken Ofori-Atta have demonstrated they won't listen to anyone but they have no choice when Parliament demands accountability
So when there are calls for MPs to demand such accountability, support the call to put pressure on your MP
The media, clergy, CSOs, celebrities and Entertainers, Chiefs, Labour unions, social media, youth must all come together with a common voice to demand accountability
If we are not united in this course and show signs of second thoughts, they will thwart it like #FixTheCountry
Until something dramatic happens, NPP/NDC will continue to rule so admitting yourself to faith and hiding behind "nothing will change" "NPP/NDC are all the same" won't cause CHANGE
The only way CHANGE can happen is demanding accountability devoid of partisanship
Be a patriot

2 of the biggest 5 stories on Kumasi radio involved one character and arguably the most listened to presenter ever Otwinoko
1. He said he had info witches were going to have their annual conference in a town called Bechem Nkwanta and for 6 months, this was discussed everywhere
2. The Yaw Donkor murder case he did with now Joy News Ashanti correspondent Ohemeng Tawia back at Radio Mercury
Top level investigations better than CSI Miami
3. Charles Taylor transfer from Hearts to Kotoko and Listowell and Kapital Sports spearheading
4. Prez Rawlings in 1998 had come to Otec FM being interviewed by Kwame Adinkrah
Then mayor Ɔkumkɔm Nana Akwasi Agyemang had to rush to the studio because how can the President visit Kumasi and he as mayor wasn't aware
It was April fool and he arrested guy who mimicked Rawlings
1. Leader of UPP, Akwasi Addai Odike was on the morning show and accused of undermining Chiefs in Asante of being involved or encouraging galamsay
2. The Kumasi Traditional Council performed rights to "barnish" Odike
3. Odike the next morning went on Nhyira FM and repeated the said accusations and said he wouldn't apologize because he spoke the truth
4. Some unknown thugs attacked the offices of Odike's party in Kumasi with eye witnesses saying the men wielded guns and destroyed vehicles
5. Ashanti regional Police have commenced investigations into the assault but Ashanti Youth Association have called on Police to investigate Odike because they believe he orchestrated the said attack at his party office
There's this attempt to always blame and attack Parliament for some of the problems Ghana faces by people because of ignorance
How do we blame Parliament for ineptitude of executive when it has always been huge majority of MPs from ruling party who are always whipped in line?
We are just lucky the 2020 Parliamentary elections ended the way it did which for the first time got the Candidate for Speaker from the ruling party losing the Speakership elections
Imagine what those in power would have done with absolute control of Parliament
The Finance Minister failed many times to account to Parliament on covid funds and majority resisted probe into covid funds with 1st Deputy Speaker ruling the AuG can do audit and come before PAC
Speaker Bagbin threatened house will not consider business from FM before he came
MY TRAVEL FROM GHANA-RUSSIA-UKRAINE-GHANA IN 7 DAYS
BACK FROM RUSSIA WITH LOVE
THE GHANAIAN ECONOMY; separating facts from propaganda
A thread
It was Monday, 25th of July 2022 and as I sat in my living room chair watching UTV around 10:47pm, I took a decision to "visit" Russia because the reasons for Ghana's current economic hardships got me confused anytime I listened to the NPP and NDC
As a poor tomato farmer from Akomadan, I said to myself; the NPP government keeps citing Covid-19 and Russia-Ukraine war as the major reason "things are hard" in Ghana whilst NDC opposition keeps disputing that
However the media is not telling me who is speaking the truth
