OK, I'm biased here in that I do not believe that the situation in Xinjiang is anything like that claimed by Western media. This article has really angered me though:

The article relies only on anecdotal accounts, it doesn't include any indications of attempts to verify the stories and publishes them as fact without any caveats. Although a few searches on his previous interviews reveal that Parach's story has clearly changed over time⬇️
Why do I find it suspicious that so many innocent men abandon their families to that which they are so terrified of? They claim no knowledge of extremist elements but are contacted by them and trust those same elements to traffick them out of the country.🤷♂️⬇️
Parach claims his young son was taken by those extremists as a "martyr" and they tried to persuade him to join ISIS, but here's the kicker he claims that the extremist network was run by China to make them look bad! 😂🤣🤣
A second man in the article complains about being harassed by Turkish police as he is an escaped Uyghur, nothing of course to do with the illegal alcohol he admits to selling in the same article!🤦♂️
Why does Parach's story not match with the Uyghur Victims Database? He's been out of Xinjiang for 10 years so you'd think they'd have had plenty of time to get his details right.🤷♂️
