1. When the @CNN report about Mark Meadows receiving a special counsel subpoena dropped I was looking for past reports of which members of Congress were at the Dec. 21 coup plotting meeting at the White House.

2. If they all agreed to fake electors scheme it was not on the floor nor in committee, it was in HQ of the coup leader and they may have enough to charge them especially if Meadows kept the correspondence where they agreed to the illegal purpose of the conspiracy.

1. Here's why I think @Mike_Pence is afraid to testify and why his lawyer cooked up the bogus speech and debate immunity claim. Remember, the first thing Jack Smith did was to send subpoenas to state governments and officials for documents much of which were focused on attorneys.

1. I sadly believe that both the DC circuit and SCOTUS are compromised by radical religious ideologues who believe their role is to turn women back into chattel. So with that caveat, here's how I think the Pence assertion of executive privilege SHOULD go.

2. Pence will be called to the grand jury and questioned. Unless he claims privilege for everything they will move to other issues to complete as much of his testimony as possible. Then the Govt will go to judge Howell to rule on the privilege claim. Based on my understanding

3. of the facts and having read my first SCOTUS opinion on executive privilege during the Watergate investigation the privilege should yield to the grand jury's right to hear his testimony. Assuming that order is immediately appealed judge Howell may grant a short stay

1. I see reporting on the Special Counsel's requirement to report to the AG. Other than the administrative reporting, the AG gets notice if reporting something to other DOJ elements would be inappropriate and also gets Urgent Reports that are described in the US Attorney manual.

2. All US Attorneys have the obligation to submit Urgent Reports as provided by department policy. It's not anything unique to a Special Counsel who is treated like a US Attorney in most respects. Here's how they work.
