[ the New year after SS final ended - January ]

Jun was having run around ES island, eventhough it supposed to be day off for everyone he can't feel like skipping his exercise. Although self-aware of his condition after SS, he decided to keep it light..

On his way to Dorm, he passed ESbuilding and found that lights still on on the 18th floor [ im surprised he counted that right ] knowing its their agency, he got curious and decided to check in WHO the hell would be staying in office where everyone off THIS LATE

Jun : just who i thought, ofcourse its ibara

Ibara :? That voice.. Jun?

Ibara : What do you need, coming at this late? Or more like what are you doing in our agency on this day off?

Jun : I'm the one should be asking here. You really just work like usual even today

Jun : wasn't there labour law about not working on year end and new year thing?

ibara : AHAHAHA well such law doesn't work for vicepres like me though, unfortunately

Jun : its not something to boast tho.. besides its right after SS yknow? Its new year, people normally just rest

Ibara : I rather not be told to rest my body by certain someone who running even in the new year.

Jun : but thanks to doing my running, I get to find the certain someone who keeps working his ass off despite the law~

Ibara : ...*sighs* now that SS finally ended, i need to focus on my work you know, will you kindly leave me alone?

Jun : thats why im... ibara doesn't have the concept of first day and last day of the year at work don't you? You also sounds really busy, is there work this early?

Ibara : if you want me to look ahead, there are tons of possibilities for us to do. Besides. You have heard it yourself right, back in SS what I have said. I want to do the direct fight. Letting myself drown in the lingering memory of it will just reminds me of my regrets

ibara : can only remember how frustrating it was. But if I focus myself on work, i don't have to waste myself drowning in such sentiment. If anything, I'm turning that frustration into energy thisway

Jun : seems like you are just throwing your frustration at work but well fine..

Jun : I'm well aware that ibara is a workaholic, the frustration that ibara feels can only be understood by ibara alone so I'll leave you be

Ibara :... You said you'll leave me be but... You are just settling yourself to sit instead?

Jun : haha i didn't say I go home right?

Jun : I'm curious what ibara is working on too and its probably something related to us so its not unrelated to me right?

Ibara : you are right, if we speak about what comes ahead, there surely are things that we need to quickly be done.

Ibara : this year too, I want everyone in Eden to show off their power in their works

Jun : if you say it to that extend, i kinda more curious... The closest job for us now

Ibara : with scale that involves the entire ES, we can't exclude the [ChocoFes] next month

So they talk abt chocofes, this year chocofes will be done with ES too so it become bigger event. Normally cospro affiliated school werent involved with it but ibara admited there are some of the small group from special student who were sent to join it

Jun surprised bcs he didn't heard abt that www and ibb was like "ofc i know im the one managing them" jun scoffed like "managing more like you sre the executive" but yes ibara said there was no benefit for it so the school itself didnt participated fully

But since its now in ES he does plan to make eden join. He can't say the detail since its not finalized yet

Jun : .. then? When are you going home?

Ibara : hm?

Jun : the time, look at the time. I know you are enjoying it but its still you shouldn't be working this late night

Ibara : .. I'll return at certain time, you don't have to worry.

Jun : bcs you didn't seems like you'll be back anytime soon im telling you this. Then, what do you think abt running back to dorm with me?

Ibara : you are ready with suitable outfit, look at me. We can't do that

Jun: ahaha, that right. But well just finish it quickly so you can go back earlier ok? If you take too much of your time I'll be back to ES just to check on you yknow?

Ibara : too overprotective. I'll return when I finish, dont worry.

Jun : aight aight... Make sure to do it ok?

Nagisa is humming melody happily so ibara asked why he is in good mood.

Apparently its bcs they are going to work as Eden soon so nagisa feel excited to finally meet Hiyori again. Since SS done, there are TONS of ADAM and EVE work so they barely meet each other

Nagisa self aware abt what he did in SS and he felt bad for making hiyori feels lonely since he disappeared a lot. Nagisa pointed out that seems like adam and eve's work as unit doesn't seems to decrease soon so he ask ibara is if ok if he officially request a job

Officially this time instead of forcing it behind Ibara's back, ibara just haha 😅 as he remembered bogie time. But anyway Nagisa asked if Ibara have something in mind about Adam and Eve. Ibara surprised that Nagisa think Ibara preparing something

But Nagisa said he saw the schedule and its quite unusal amount of Adam and Eve work instead of eden. Ibara admitted that there is a plan from executive for them. He added to be sure thag it has nothing to do with disbandment or another fight [ ahem conquest trauma i see ]

But yeah such a plan is something that ibara would like to explain with Eve too soon so he can hear their opinion too.

Nagisa smiled and acknowledged that. That made ibara quite baffled bcs Nagisa is being so obedient --(even after threatening the executive)

Nagisa admit that he felt bad for taking away Ibara's "fun" in SS to finish his own personal grudge( to priest) that Ibara had to go through everything even change gis character like that so .. it might not be apology but he want to listen to Ibara's plan properly this time

Ibara listening to it just went silent but he scold nagisa again if he understands that he didnt just recently giving ibara problem but he has been doing that a lot

Nagisa : did i become that much of nuisance ? 🥺

Ibara had enough and nagisa said he really going to listen properly, and quietly open his book to read. Ibara in ither hand just staring at him and observing him reading while having lot of thoughts about will nagisa rebel again 🤣 well nagisa didn't seems to do so

Hiyori is in hype mode bcs he has so much fun working with eden he comolained the same thing as nagisa and when jun point out how he has to spend these days with hiyori, hiyori was like "hm? And you have problem spending that time with me?"

Jun sighing " we were talking about unit though? Dont come at me to throw your frustration.."

Hiyori continue to complain bcs ibara decided their job without explaining a damn thing and it frustrated him so much if he dont know why ibara do that it will be bad weather for him!

Nagisa show up to say that Hiyori just said the same thing as him earlier~ then explain that he asked the same to ibara

Hiyori : hee so its like that? Fufu even if we separated, me and Nagisa-kun are one heart .. ♪

Nagisa : ... Yes, one heart

Hiyori + Nagisa :.. ( highfive )

Jun : ( whisper ) oi. Our senior already get in their pace getting along and all, why are you keep being silent.

Ibara : (whisper) nothing, I'm just staring at them smiling thinking how close they are... ♪

Jun : liar...just say you don't want to get in the way

Jun : afraid to say something in wrong timing so you just wait

Ibara : besides if i jump in your and his Highness or his Excellency and his Highness conversation, i feel like I'm being in the way. They don't intend to ask me so I don't think i have to force myself to explain

Hiyori immediately talk back and said that he sensed ibara has plan already so he is waiting for ibara to say it but if he has to follow his feeling hed told him to explain already.

Ibara still staring at nagisa and hiyori who high five and keep their hands together there

But anyway ibara said that they cant talk here since its dressing room and if anything they haven't even change their clothes so the adam told eve to change up first

Jun : ( while changing his clothes ).. actually I think I can grasp what Ibara about to explain

Ibara : you do?

J : yeah, i guess its something abt choco fes, you said you'd explain later

Hiyori : ?

I ; ... Back in newyear? Hmm when I recall i think i did talk a bit abt it

Nagisa : ?

Hiyori: what is that? I don't hear anything about it!? Since when did you both shares secret just with each other? To think that Jun-kun and Ibara left us out!? This is a big problem nagisa-kun! They kept secret from us! I'm upset!

Nagisa : .... I don't think they mean it like that but if hiyori-kun sad.. i also sad...

Nagisa : ... Ibara. Explain it, will you?

Ibara : ( whisper ) .. this is jun's fault. Eventhough i delayed it a lot so i can explain it when i find the right time

Jun : ( whisper ) you replied it yourself. Can you not blame it all just on me!?

Ibara he try to explain that no matter what they cant do the meeting here

They'd do that later date in agency. Then jun explained to nagisa and hiyori about ehat happen in new year and ofc hiyori ims scolding them for training snd working that late. Ibara tried to calm them down but jun mentioned how ibara was so busy

Then jun recalled about comp [ obbligato plan ] and ask if ibara was preparing that project that time. Nagisa later bring up but ibb also working in chocofes? And they all keep asking ibara stuff until ibara explode once again telling them they asked too much!

Ibara repeated whT he said that they CANT talk about that here. He rush them to change clothes and since th car already ready they want them to just get back home fast

Finally in agency, Ibara seemed to be in good mood and sharing the proposal he already prepared, he asked them to read about it throughly and as jun expected this is about the chocofest

recap to whats going on so far with choco fes, ibara brought up the problem mentioned in primavera and saying things abt how fine will be focused on that now since eichi decided to take care of the problem

nagisa asked how ibara know that much about yumenosaki affair www and ofc he said he has been following the problem itself. with fine not being able to focus on ES' chocofes that means its bigger chance for Eden to dominate ES chocofest

hiyori pointed out how ibara seems like he has a "good" plan and nagisa and jun pointed out how his "true feelings" slipped out when he explained the bigger chance Eden has now that fine is busy wwww

well following that, he knows that there is a lot he has to explain

so he started with hiyori's question and finally reveal that this time, the plan for eden is to dominate the chocofes as Adam and Eve

so technically, while eve has tons of work together, the only time adam and eve focus with their own unit was during conquest but bcs of SS they have to focus on EDEN.

this time ibara want to show the charm of eden as unit that can only be shown bcs they are eden

that is by using the slot of eden to perform as Adam and Eve. the focus on each unit was to make audience aware again how "this is how eden is" that they are originally two unit that become one and show stronger impact together. ibara wanted to show this in chocofes

bcs there is no other unit that can use this method other than them.

but thats not the only thing he aimed.

he aim eden to be winner or chocofes.

now into chocofes mechanism.

in chocofest they will be selling choco and unit that sells most choco will win.

the sales will be converted to L$. hiyori sighed as ibara o0nce again end up bringing about money. but well .. who cant deny that its pretty important

bakc to the rules, they originally can only sell same design choco BUT

iibara especially added in the rules that unit who want to do more can use their own money for that and ofc its rules that he already think and crafted so much that it will benefit to eden more. so they will be selling the choco that is made unique to eden too

Ibara : its all for me--us to be able to dominate this year's valentine... ♪

Jun : ah, this time your plate is pretty much balanced isn't it? I was already thinking to put my karaage on your plate if you once again only eat chicken breast and broccoli

Ibara : if i don't fill it up myself, everyone will just put unecessary stuff as they like.

Hiyori : alright alright everyone lets take a seat and say "itadakimasu" together..

Hiyori : itadakimasu..♪

Nagisa : ... Itadakimasu

No the other two didnt say it

now that they decided to eat together, ibara finally ask them if they want to ask more about the plan or showing their impression.

hiyori come first. originally he doesn't like the idea that they are using fan's love in such day for them to earn money but

they might get to meet new fans and can deliver happiness to more ppl so he think its alright

ibara brought up how Hiyori seemed reluctant abt the Adam and Eve's job so he honestly glad to hear that opinion but hiyori added that he doesn't mind as long as there is proper reason

and love surrounding it.

nagisa also bring up conquest since the activity of adam and eve being so active together might remind people of conquest, it might brought trouble but since he has heard ibara that ibara has his own reason abt it he didnt mind too

And nagisa said since its ibb leading them for that good plan he is fine.. but ibara silent after that

Jun asked him why ibara is staying silent. Ibara just said that he feel really relived that nagisa and hiyori agree with the plan, it felt like less burden on his shoulder

Thwybring up abt how THERE ALWAYS been something being obstacle on ibb plan so its the odd one for him that this went all smooth this time.

Hiyori : feeling relieved after getting approval from us, surprisingly, Ibara has that cute side too ... ♪

Ibara : pls don't tease me!

ok now problem.

return to the COMP, there is still some budget left from the PV making so cospro's executive wanted to use that money to pretty much paint the "goodness" of cospro and its affiliated school in this chocofes.

but Ibara already wanted to focus on eden instead of thinking for the whole of cospro so thats why he is more reluctant about it. if he has to manage this project as well his focus on eden might lessen up and it giving him headache.

hiyori asked if he cant make the executive to not bothering eden this time, or especially the choco fest itself
bcs comp is basically project that is sensitive for a lot ppl

for those who didnt know COMP was meant to "repaint" tragedy and bad system in cospro affiliated school

to be seen as something that was never been it. showing off how good that school is and make those like tatsumi, jun and himeru makes "testimony" that is more supporting the school system now without addressing their old problem

Ibara said if he cant control ES and their executive then he wouldn't have headache like that.

While they discuss that jun has been silent all the time and ibara noticed it so he called him out, he hadn't hear anything from jun so he want just to say what he think

Jun suddenly said that he is against it. Then he added that he is against them letting the COMP program to intervene the ChocoFes. As the reimei student himself even if he put aside his feeling, he can't let the valentine event smeared by that full of lies project

Jun actually felt bad to say it here given ibara already have so much headache about it.

Ibara answered that unfortunately as he has explained its something that him as vicepres can hardly ignore.

Jun added, if ibara were to be full of spirit and supportive about it, he actually didn't plan to say his feeling out..but even with his small brain he understood the condition.

Ibara who is supposed to be working with those people is here and complaining about that decision

Jun said that even if ibara forcing himself to impress the executive, he will be the one who bear the consequence and labeled as the greedy one.

Ibara calmly replied "... Its also simply my role as vice president" but Jun keep trying to convince him

Jun bring up that the PV is done, there is plenty of time for them ro use the budget somewhere else. He asked ibara that wouldn't it be nice if atleast for this Valentine they can do their work out of those lies. He promised him that he will do his best

For the sake of this chocofes that Ibara try his hard to put all his thoughts to. But the more he speak the more he sounded less convincing...

Ibara just listening to him to finish his sentence.

While Jun tried his hard to explain himself, hiyori and nagisa is having telepathy moment describing how Jun tried his best to explain things without saying bad things abt ibara but bcs he didnt put his thoughts together first before he explain he sounded a bit scattered

Jun brought up abt the possibility of the executive riding Ibara's plan in chocofes and ibara told him to stop there but he can't let it go. Jun insisted that eden can reach their goal in chocofes with their own power. So ibara dont have to keep puzzled alone

Jun : besides valentine is normally the event where its overfilled with love so we dont need to take that big risk here

Ibara : overfilled with love...? ( Valentine for me is nothing more than a field of fierce fight in business. I can't relate to such thoughts.)

Ibara : ( i might can say stuff about love but my feelings remains the same. Its something incomprehensible for me. And for you... To say it to me... )

I : .... how annoying

Jun : hah? What did you said?

I : I don't know a thing about Valentine as "event filled with love"

Ibara : rather than thinking to understand such a thing, its faster and easier to use the money wisely to impress those executives

Jun : that doesnt mean that...!

Ibara: ... But I accepted your opinion. If Jun is against it that means we cant continue with this- give me time.

Ibara : I'll contact you again... Excuse me
