🚨🧵 Public Records show Rachel Levine discussing potential revenue and ROI associated with having a Gender Clinic Social Worker.
These emails from 12/2018 are between Levine and Rollyn M. Ornstein, MD.
Rollyn was affiliated with Penn State Hershey Children’s Hospital.
Rollyn:
“I am trying to convince the administration about the need for a MSW position specific for the imminent Gender clinic, I am trying to put together a presentation re: potential revenue, including downstream.”
Levine:
“You should be able to fund a MSW for evaluation and therapy for pediatric and adolescent patients in a program such as you do for the ED program and is done at CHOP. Pre surgical consult for patients under 18 will most likely be limited to FTM Top surgery...”
Rollyn: “I am trying to give them some numbers to help them realize the eventual ROI for this necessary position. Even if the patients under 18 who go for surgery might be limited, the patients we start with will eventually be over 18…so I still think it’s worthwhile.”
Pediatric Gender Clinics may employ a social worker to help secure insurance coverage for gender dysphoric minors seeking surgical interventions, such as a double mastectomy. The CHOP Gender clinic describes the role of a gender clinic social worker in their 2021 report.
Penn State Health launched a Pediatric Gender Clinic in 2019.
The clinics coordinator is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker.
The Penn State Gender Health Clinic offers puberty blockers, permanent hormone therapy, and surgical referrals (which are sometimes in network).
🧵EXCLUSIVE: Here’s How A Small Band Of Pediatricians Pushed Medical Org Into Nixing Age Minimums For Sex Changes
Based on the four doctors’ review, the AAP strong-armed WPATH into removing sex-change surgery age minimums from the SOC-8. ⬇️⬇️⬇️
Emails reveal the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) asked just four doctors — all of whom are considered leaders in the field of pediatric sex changes and have performed various transgender procedures — to review and provide feedback on an embargoed copy of the World Professional Association of Transgender Health’s (WPATH) clinical guidance, called the Standards of Care version 8 (SOC-8), weeks before its expected publication.
In an amicus brief submitted in the upcoming Supreme Court case United States v. Skrmetti, Alabama Attorney General Steve Marshall explains that Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) Assistant Secretary for Health Rachel Levine — who is openly transgender — had unsuccessfully pressured WPATH to remove the surgical age minimums, but the pressure from the AAP “tipped the scales,” causing WPATH to remove the child sex-change surgery age minimums.
🧵The Biden-Harris Administration ‘War On Families’
The Biden-Harris embrace of transgender ideology puts parents who don’t affirm their child’s gender confusion at risk of being labeled ‘abusive.’
Across the country ‘non-affirming’ parents are losing custody of their kids.
In December, @katesrichardson reported on a document I discovered on a federal government website.
A federally funded “home visiting” program advised service providers to watch for signs of abuse against “gender-diverse children” like not letting a young child cross-dress.
The document was guidance for the Maternal, Infant, and Early Childhood Home Visiting (MIECHV) Program which is intended to combat abuse and neglect while promoting “positive parenting” and school readiness among “pregnant people and families.”
EXCLUSIVE: Child Services Dept Working With Biden Harris-Admin Tracked ‘Trans Kids’ On Secret Database
Shocking story and the 4th installment of the @DailyCaller News Foundation's series on how child welfare systems are embracing gender ideology.
An Ohio child welfare agency created a “confidential spreadsheet” tracking the sexual orientation and transgender identity of children as young as 5, according to a document exclusively obtained by the Daily Caller News Foundation.
The Cuyahoga County Division of Children and Family Services (DCFS) created a database tracking the sexual orientation, transgender identity and pronouns of children that interacted with the child welfare system.
The spreadsheet was part of their ‘Safe Identification’ program, which teaches social services staff how to collect information about the sexuality and gender identity of children.
🧵Transgender Ideology: The intersection of religious freedom and parental rights.
While spending 10+ months researching how gender ideology is transforming the child welfare system, one thing that stood out was a focus on changing the minds of religious parents.
For many religions, a binary male-female view of sex is not only a matter of biology, it’s a matter of faith.
For example, for Christians gender ideology is a violation of religious conscience as the Bible clearly states “God created them male and female."
One of the interventions the @DailyCaller News Foundation covered in our report was the Youth Acceptance Project (YAP), which can be implemented by social workers to persuade hesitant parents to affirm their child’s gender dysphoria.
EXCLUSIVE: Biden-Harris Admin Paves Way For Bureaucrats To Take Gender-Confused Kids From ‘Non-Affirming’ Parents
🧵@katesrichardson and I took a deep dive into the ongoing LGBTQ affirming transformation of the child welfare system.
@DailyCaller News Foundation
When the Biden-Harris administration implemented a new policy in April 2024 requiring foster care families to be LGBTQ “affirming” concerms were raised that religous families would be excluded from becoming foster parents.
We discovered how it could impact all families now.
The Biden-Harris administration’s new federal rule directs states to ensure foster children who identify as LGBTQ are placed in affirming homes.
These “designated placements” must commit to creating an environment that supports a child’s “status or identity."
🧵Migrants Are Overwhelming School Districts In Key Swing State, Saddling Taxpayers With Hefty Price Tag
@jasonhopkinsdc and I found a huge surge in non-English speaking students in Pennsylvania public schools.
@DailyCaller News Foundation.
A massive influx in non-English speaking students in Pennsylvania is overwhelming school districts across the state,
The number of English Language Learners (ELL) in school districts in Pennsylvania has surged nearly 40% since 2021.
Across the state, there were a total of 71,766 ELL students — those requiring specialized education in learning English as a second language — during the 2020-2021 school year, according to data published by the Pennsylvania Department of Education.
