Bollinger bands are used to determine whether the price are high or low on relative basis.Bollinger bands use 20sma and 2 standard deviation of it.

BOLLINGER BAND SQUEEZE:
Squeeze setup makes us to enter the trend early on.
ENTRY:
Look for very tight/narrow bands. and enter the breakout/breakdown of the band(price closing outside of bands)
Narrow bands :Sign of consolidation.

How I play Squeeze
I mix it with price action I.e Consolidation /rectangle geometric pattern breakout/breakdown. Good volume candle increase accuracy.
Trail profit with atr.
The candle should be momentum candle.I look for rsi above 60 for long,40 for short

HEAD FAKES:
When the Squeeze entry fails,I look for more than 2 reversal candlestick and price to come inside the band.If that happens I enter the trade in opposite direction and target of opposite band.
Have a scalping logic for head fakes.

TREND SETUP:
Similar to squeeze setup,but trend setup occurs without Squeeze.Long when price touches upper band,short when price touches lower band.Price pushing continuously outside of band is a continuation of trend signal.

How I Play Trend setup:
Trend setup is quite tricky as it needs other indicators for confirmation.I personally use Rsi(Trend shift) for trend setup..Any indicator like supertrend,macd,stochastics,price action patterns can be used along with this.

REVERSAL SETUP:
Selling weakness at upper band ,Buying strength at lower band is reversal setup.This is kind of mean reversion setup where we looks for divergence in moment indicator and W,M in patterns inside the bollinger bands. Reversal setup is Highly profitable setup.

How I play Reversal:
I mostly look for rsi divergence.Other than that W,M patterns are highly accurate with rsi divergence.But in live market W,M patterns are tougher . So I prefer rsi divergence and entry at the break of swing high/low or supertrend indicator.

This is how I combine price action and indicators as a system.Once the nse announce trading hour extension I'll switch to this system.Currently I'm running plain 920 straddle with multi time entry.
