Letter to President Mohammed Buhari @MBuhari

Dear President Buhari,

I am writing to you to express my concern about the upcoming elections in our country. As a citizen, I strongly believe that every person has the right to participate in the electoral process and

have their voice heard. However, it is only possible if the elections are conducted in a free and fair manner. I understand that as the leader of our nation, you have the responsibility to ensure that the upcoming elections are conducted in a transparent and fair manner. It is
essential to uphold the integrity of the election process, which is the cornerstone of any democratic society.

As you know, Nigeria has a long history of election-related violence and rigging. This has undermined the credibility of our democracy and eroded the trust of our
citizens in the electoral process. It is therefore imperative that you take bold steps to ensure that the upcoming presidential election is transparent, free, and fair. By conducting a credible election, you will be leaving a legacy of a strong and vibrant democracy for future
generations of Nigerians. This will enhance the reputation of our country in the international community, and promote the economic and social development of our nation.

Therefore, Mr President, I implore you to implement all essential measures to guarantee that the upcoming
elections are conducted in a free and fair manner, devoid of any acts of violence, intimidation or vote-buying before, during and after the elections, This will reflect the will of the Nigerian people.
I also urge INEC to allow Nigerians who were not able to collect their PVC to
use computer print out from INEC portal for accreditation. This will eliminate great number of Nigerians from being disenfranchised. It is also vital to ensure that all eligible voters are able to cast their vote without any hindrance and that the counting process is conducted in
a fair, unbiased manner and to avoid reoccurrence of over voting in Osun state.

Mr President, the eyes of the world are on Nigeria as we prepare to elect our next leader. I urge you to seize this opportunity to leave a lasting legacy for your personality by conducting a free,
fair, and credible election that will serve as a shining example to other African countries.

I strongly believe that if we take all necessary steps, the forthcoming elections will be free and fair. It is only through such an election that the citizens of our nation will be able
to choose their representatives and have their voices heard.

Thank you Mr President for your attention.

A Concern Nigerian Citizen.
