OMFG the BBC just showed us about 60 seconds of Ash Regan's launch and now they're doing an interview with some wee woke SNP Students prick from...
You couldn't make this up as a pisstake. This wee tosser has had more airtime than Ash Regan, and none of his bullshit is being challenged in any way.
"I think it's important we keep the Greens happy", he just said in response to another gently-lobbed softball question from the friendly presenter, and then rubbished the defacto referendum π€¦ββοΈ
I remember seeing this speech at the time and being genuinely horrified. 96% of people in Scotland are white. It is not in any way remarkable, or an outrage requiring remedy, that they occupy most positions of power or seniority. It's basic arithmetic.
Indeed, barely a decade ago that figure was 98%, so it's even more unlikely that non-whites would occupy positions of seniority yet. Discrimination on the basis of skin colour is always wrong, whichever colour it is.
The way Yousaf spits out the word "white" with such contempt every time totally changed the way I saw him.
One of my absolute favourite WTF moments in pop culture is the video for "Shout" by Tears For Fears. For most of its duration it's the boys being suitably moody and angsty on windswept cliffs and beaches.
The song builds to a fantastic climax, as Roland or the other one (I forget which is which) works himself up into a right old lather and howls "If I could change your mind, I'd really love to BREAK your heart!", pouring his tormented soul out at the listener.
At which point we discover the lads have suddenly and inexplicably been teleported to a seven-year-old's birthday party, complete with all the nieces and nephews and aunties and uncles, and even dear old granny.
For the record, I have deleted none of my old tweets. Twitter's search is abysmal at finding anything more than a few months old, though, as I've previously noted here: wingsoverscotland.com/from-the-twittβ¦
Unlike Kevin, I'm not ashamed of anything I've tweeted in the past, like this tweet he deleted but never apologised to me for, or the fake Photoshopped tweets he said were mine, then deleted, but never apologised to me for. wingsoverscotland.com/the-liar/
If Kevin would like to share these "screencaps", I will happily find the tweets in question (which can be done by text-searching a downloaded Twitter archive) and show him that they're still live today.
