The war of terror was part of the plan for the Greater Israel Project. An excuse was needed to justify the expansion of Israel so the seeds of sectarian hatred and violence had to be sown in the region.

It's beyond naive to suggest the US doesn't have its fingerprints all over ISIS. ISIS never once attacked Israel, and ISIS militants were getting medical attention in Israel-occupied Golan Heights and in Israel itself.

At the 1979 Jerusalem Conference on International Terrorism coordinated by Netanyahu, the idea that the US & its western allies should come fight a "war on terror" against Israel's enemies b/c "the real target of 'Islamic terrorism' is the west," was rolled out. Bush Sr agreed.

Promoting the idea of fighting terrorism became Netanyahu's career.
After the construct for a war on terror was created, a face for "Islamic terrorism" was needed, so Al-Qaeda was created with funding from the CIA and Saudi Arabia, and weapons and training from Israel.

By the mid-80s they'd created the construct of the war on terrorism, and they's created the boogeyman, and then, in order to make the war on terror operational and go into effect, they just needed the match that lit the fire. And that was September 11.

The US took over the German war against the Soviet Union. The CIA, using Nazis, the SS, and other war criminals, was the most important element in the underground warfare, the Cold War, against the Soviet Union & its allies in Eastern Europe.

After the Bolshevik Revolution, Ukrainian (& Russian) exiles in Paris were trained & cultivated by nazis. A Ukrainian army from OUN was part of the Nazi invasion of the SU in 1941.
Hitler's Chief of Intelligence for the Eastern Front, Reinhard Gehlen "surrendered" to the US.

Gehlen, a war criminal wanted by the SU, was flown to the US. He recruited & trained eastern Europeans as saboteurs to forment rebellions in their home countries to retard economic recovery after the war so that there could be a huge contrast between western & eastern Europe.
