Wonder how many others have this … is it really that unusual ? IMO many things in medicine are only “unusual” as they’re just not picked up .. #T3antibodies

Having a really interesting chat with a friend about how there was a “ sizing up” stage post war. Then the super skinny twiggy thing came along . I thought the years of hearing “ she used to be slim and attractive” ( not about me but it could be in the eyes of 1n
Both boomer generations ( twiggy ) and mine - the return of the super waif ( Kate moss) . Growing up in one with parents from the other really truly did make me believe that I had to be stick thin to be attractive. And back then, in my youth anyway - the focus was always on 2n
women. There were no similar comments about men “ such a shame- to think he used to be slim and attractive” . Maybe .. “ he was very good looking when he was younger” but the focus on weight was absent. There’s no way of measuring levels of self shame but I wonder if 3n
