Let's start with UT HSC Tyler, they were in Austin on Feb 21st asking for more $$$ from taxpayers.

As part of a CPAN (Child Pychiatry Access Network) which is part of TX Child Mental Health Care Consortium, a professor of medicine at UT Health Science Center Tyler lectures PCPs on "gender affirming care" for minors.

Webinar attendees were provided this highly intellectual, scientific graphic to explain gender, presentation, biological sex, and genitalia....to doctors!!! "It's really fun".

UTHSC Tyler professor training PCPs as part of TX CPAN training: “don’t out the child to parent”

Similar training was conducted by Texas Tech HSC El Paso (which opened a pediatric gender clinic in El Paso) tcmhcc.utsystem.edu/events/webinar…

UTSW which also has a pediatric gender medicine department provided similar training with Mili Khandheria (a real quack).

Khandheria was part of a published "study" (really just a chart review of 16 patients, hardly a statistically valid sample) in which she claims puberty blockers are effective and safe. #Shady

This Child Mental Health Consortium was launched with $90 Million in the 86th TX Legislature. It got $113 Million in the 87th. Transing kids leads to poorer mental health and increased suicide. What a horrible investment!!!! @electcharles @laraalix @GrownTomboy @Bruzer4211

This is weird and probably gonna be awkward for some...The manager of TCHATT and CPAN Programs which give school kids access to therapists via teleconferences is a "lesbian" married to a man who IDs as a woman. Confusing.

It's her. I confirmed the relationship and employment history. However, I don't think this training is b/c of one person's agenda....but no doubt there are agendas. Not sure this is what Republicans had in mind when they passed this in 2019.

There must be better ways to improve access to mental health services than creating a ton more bureaucracy and spending 100s of millions of dollars with little transparency and the potential for so much harm.

We need to have a look at disclosures of conflicts of interest for members of the consortium.

Let's do math. 13,309 kids served over two years for a total of 35,700 visits at a cost of $203,000,000 = 5686 per visit. 2.68 visits per student. Cost of $15,252 per student.

I have spent a lot of money on child mental health services in the last 15 years for 3 children who experienced trauma due to abuse from a Trans"man" and a from their father transitioning.... it is usually $200-$250 a session. #ScrewUTaxpayers @JillGloverSD12 @MattRinaldiTX

And.....parents need to understand that this consortium reaches kids in public, charter, private, religious schools. The drs are trained in transgender pseudoscience and that poison is reaching kids!!!

Schools enrolled in the program include Alief ISD, Aldine ISD, Fort Bend ISD, Huffman ISD, Humble ISD, Lamar Consolidated ISD, and YES Prep. That is just the UT Health Houston McGovern Med School.
