Lets for the sake of metaphors use Garden as your world, Flowers and Plants as the people you come in contact with and Weeds as unresolved trauma.
You can't allow your trauma to go unresolved. Its unhealthy for you mentally and bad for your relationships with people.
Unresolved trauma is like weeds in a garden... your garden can't grow if weeds are over running it, and somehow if your garden is able to grow, the beautiful flowers that are growing cant fully flourish because of those damn weeds overshadowing them.
If you know anything about gardening, you cant just spray a little weed killer on it because they will come back, often way more than before. In order to get rid of the weeds you have to fully get down to the root of the weed and pull that bitch out ground. (Root problem)
A beautiful garden is a working garden. You have to continually put in effort, constantly pulling up weeds and watering it while giving it food and sunlight. You don't even have to be a "gardener" to have a good looking garden, You with all your "mess" can have a healthy garden
It takes work and commitment to make it the best looking garden thru YOUR EYES. Remember all plants can't grown in all conditions. Find out the plants you like and create the habitat for those plants to thrive in. Happy Monday #MondayMotivation
