MASSIVE LIABILITY: Tuesday morning, another INFERNO at the King St. #Chinatown-ID homeless encampment. This is same @wsdot property that's now been scene of nearly a dozen fires this month alone. In my 20+ year journalism career, I have never witnessed so many elected officials… twitter.com/i/web/status/1…
TESTY EXCHANGE: As #Chinatown-ID fire was being put out Tuesday morning at King St. encampment, @KC_RHA, Lived Experience Coalition, and outreach workers were giving out food, supplies, and trying to help homeless get ID's across the street. All positive. But Roosevelt… twitter.com/i/web/status/1…
EARLIER THIS MONTH: During FEB. @KC_RHA Governing Committee meeting, parents railed on officials about dangerous homeless encampment left to flourish under Ship Canal Bridge. But after public comment, Roosevelt McQuarter cautioned them from using … twitter.com/i/web/status/1…
KING ST. PROBLEMS: Along with challenges for #Chinatown-ID businesses and residents, Summit Sierra High School is caught in the middle of open air drug deals, homeless encampment infernos, and a black market that's thriving. This is just the latest crisis … twitter.com/i/web/status/1…
MULTIPLE SHOTS FIRED: This past Friday night, diners in #Chinatown-ID called #Seattle Police after hearing bullets whiz by near notorious King St. homeless encampment. Unclear if anyone hit. Still no timeline from @wsdot and Marc Dones/ @KC_RHA

OCTOBER 2022: FIRE erupts at PROBLEMATIC homeless encampment on @wsdot property in #Seattle's #Chinatown-ID. Inferno torched several tents. No injuries but biz owners are furious and want #WSDOT to SWEEP.
NOV 2022: In response to question about camp along highway in #Chinatown-ID, @wsdot Secretary of Transportation Roger Millar said, "When we see something starting, we get in and stop it."
BREAKING: Criminal squatter Steve Hickey just filed for Chapter 13 bankruptcy, hoping to shield himself from paying back hundreds of thousands of dollars in back rent, and eviction from a Ravensdale property. His house of cards is finally starting to crumble.
🧵👇
In court documents, he only claims to have $50K or less in assets.
But in this recent video, Hickey boasts about making tons of cash as a social media influencer through social media revenue, sponsorships, and licensing deals with tv stations. By my estimate, Hickey likely clears more than $200K a year.
Thousands of illegals are being transported through Seattle's King County Airport. Many will be deported.
I started documenting. But far-left activists with La Resistencia tried to disrupt my coverage. Problem for them, they don't know the law.
The woman trying to disrupt my coverage is Maru Mora-Villalpando with La Resistencia. Her group sent out an error riddled press release about this incident with zero evidence to back up their claims. Why does the far-left activist class get so triggered by the truth?
Pt.1
I was on assignment for Frontlines TPUSA. I showed them my press credentials. But they still blocked me until King County Sheriff's showed up and scolded the activists. They had to let me in since it's a public space. 🤣
Pt.2
HAPPENING NOW: Just got off the phone with Katrina Freitag, the Ravensdale homeowner who obliterated Steve Hickey in court and now has legal authority to boot this squatter from her property. She feels vindicated by this outcome but says Hickey is known as a conman for a reason.
She's afraid he might try to find a legal loophole and lie about his circumstances to delay, delay, delay.
For now, she is in the process of notifying King County Sheriff's Office and deputies could be physically removing him in the coming days. At this point, it is in Hickey's best interest to leave on his own.
🧵👇
PART 1:
Here is the summary judgement against Steve Hickey. He lied to all his supporters, his reputation is in ruins, and more importantly, the judge says the property belongs to Katrina Freitag.
PART 2:
Basically, Hickey was in a rent to own situation and put in hundreds of thousands of dollars of his own money. But he defaulted on payments and lost out on his ability to buy the Ravensdale house outright from the former owner Lee Strom.
EXCLUSIVE: In February I exposed a nightmare of drugs, crime, chaos, and death inside some of Plymouth Housing's taxpayer funded apartments for the homeless. But their leaders ignored all my questions about accountability. So I confronted them at their annual gala and they ran.🧵
Why are @amazon, @Microsoft, @Starbucks, @DeltaDentalWA, @pagliaccipizza, @AvalonBay, @Goodman_RE, and Brettler Family Foundation funding meth pipes and drug supplies in Plymouth Housing facilities without any requirements to get addiction treatment?
I've also obtained hundreds of 911 call logs to the newest Plymouth Housing facility in Bellevue that opened at the end of last year. Same problems including deaths, drug overdoses, and crime. I was recently accosted by a resident.
I will be launching that story in the coming weeks.
BREAKING: An absolutely devastating blow to King County Executive Dow Constantine(@kcexec) and Sheriff Patti-Cole Tindall. A judge tossed their lawsuit against the city of Burien that questioned the constitutionality of the city's public camping ordinance. Right after today's decision, Mayor Kevin Schilling spoke to me about the implications. 🧵👇
Now that King County has been ordered to enforce the camping ban, it's still unclear when officers will start sweeping encampments. Making matters worse for King County, Burien is still suing for breach of contract and that's winding it's way through the courts.
After this massive loss, Constantine's leadership, reputation, and legacy on addressing the homeless crisis is cooked.
At this point, his "Housing First," "harm reduction," and no sweeps policies must be further questioned and scrutinized. His alignment with far-left ideology has decimated the community he is supposed to serve. @kcexec
BREAKING: Controversial homeless housing provider Plymouth Housing will now be running operations at the former Kirkland La Quinta Inn on 10530 Northup Way. Despite major opposition, the city council voted unanimously to allow it into the community. 🧵👇
Under King County's "Health Through Housing," neighbors expressed concerns about hardcore drug use and other problems spilling into the community. That's because Plymouth subscribes to the low barrier "housing first" model where addicts are not required to get treatment.
King County Councilmember Claudia Balducci is applauding this move in her district.
Today's press release did not indicate when the Kirkland location would open.
